Ahs Class 373

So I recently downloaded the AHS Class 373 Eurostar for TS Classic mainly because

A. I wanted Eurostar in TS Classic
B. I could use the coaches and a Class 66 to replicate Enterprise services that run between Dublin and Belfast -

So I download it, follow all the steps in the manual, open the game and I don't find it in the train selection menu on quick drive. I try again and it's still not appearing

What did I do wrong? Did I miss any steps in the manual?

 

It is in Quick Drive under AHS. You have to select an Electrified route to use it

You will have problems in using the coaches as they are in an articulated set - not individual coaches on the Enterprise service

 

I mean it's not appearing in the quick drive menu AT ALL believe me I've checked twice

 

Look in your Assets folder
Do you have a \AHS\UNDERSEALINE\PreLoad folder?

If not reinstall it.

 

I might ask my dad if he can help me. He's more tech savvy than I am

 

UPDATE: i tried testing it and it just crashed the game (Train Simulator Classic 2024)

Note I specifically chose HS1 London to faversham because it's an electric route.

 

Try it on a different electric route
The AHS Eurostar won't see the Cab signals on HS1

I usually try it on London to Peterborough

 

It's not worth it. also the "README" did say it may not work

 

Don't download something if you are not prepared to do some work to get it running.

If you did want the AHS Eurostar to work on HS1 then you need the patch from Backdated TrainSim.

I have both the french TGV routes. I've even got the one going to Lyonn

 

I have it and I have got it working with the scenarios that come with it.

 

Then download and install the Class 373 patch from Backdated TrainSim.
You can run it on any Electric route in the game and when on normal UK Routes you will have the Speedo showing MPH
On the HS1 and Lyon to Marseille routes the TVM works showing the maximum speed.
