Xbox Series X Are Blurry Textures Even More Of A Consistent Problem Now?

While the blurry textures issues is nothing new, unfortunately, I seem to notice they are appearing a lot more across several routes.

Normally, routes like Frankfurt-Fulda normally has this consistently. But, recently, having played Rosenheim-Salzburg, Ludwigsbahn and Mittenwaldbahn etc to name a few, these all now seem to pretty much have blurry textures frequently too which is so frustrating and totally ruins the immersion.

When will this ever be fixed!

 

I play uk routes, same issues on them. Am on series x. Sounds popping, blurry textures, ALOT of lag. Its a mess.

 

The blurry textures is perhaps the biggest single that right now which is totally ruining my enjoyment of the game!

Southeastern High Speed has this a lot.

Strangely though, I only really notice it when driving the 395, when it appears as AI or I drive other trains there isn't really any at all.

Even smaller routes such as Maintalbahn I'm experiencing blurry textures playing on Series X:

 

The only 1 i have noticed so far, is that i dont get the texture glitch on brighton main line, i set weather to cloudy and still on 4k, never had a glitch in textures, only sound issues, so yeah i play that route the most just now.

Agree, it is. The sound quality, the texture glitches. Cheek to bring out tsw 6 which is basically a update file for people who have previous iterations, ooo look, this is new, and so is this. And yet we still have same old issues from previous ones.

 

I normally turn off some layers and its fine. I know thats not the solution but its a quick fix that works.

 

There is a solution, don't buy any (newer) route until DTG solves the mess. I only play TSW, TSW2020 and TSW2 routes as those has better performance and not seems to have the blurry texture issue. You can get blurry textures on those older routes when there are layers active with newer trains, like ICE-T and Vectron.

 

I fired up SKA on my XSX last night and I had bluey textures everywhere. Even the 423 I was driving was in low detail blurred on all external parts of the 2x4 car formation. Normally this sorted itself out after a few minutes but not this time.

Somthing very wrong with the Xbox build lately

 

I tried doing a run on BCC yesterday, got about halfway through and the textures went blurry and might as well have been playing TSW super Nintendo edition. Similarly had a problem with Edinburgh-Glasgow on a recent run. Both have worked fine previously in earlier versions of tsw.

Both times it's happened I've shut the game down and played something else. If TSW 6 doesn't fix these problems I'm done with it as i can't be bothered anymore.

 

What layers do you have active and what timetable are you using? For me SKA is crashing on Series S with the revamped timetable, with the New journey timetable no issues at all. I've even more trains driving around with the New journeys timetable, as I miss all freight layers for the revamped timetable.

I've seen multiple reports about blurry textures on SKA with the revamped timetable, but all of them did have recent trains active like the ICE-T and Vectron.

 

Totally agree, its just getting beyond the joke now.

 

Terrible experience on the Xbox Series X. I remember when Sam was the community manager and Dovetail would apologise on streams while he fought for answers and future guarantees. Now we have issues that are far worse - poor textures, poor quality sound, crashes, z-fighting etc etc - and it's now acceptable to wait a year in hope that a new rendition of the game will resolve the issues, only the find the errors carry forward. It's a really poor show.

The blurriness is getting worse on xbox x/s. Its like it now on every route I dont know what the hell the updates have done to the build. But its got so much worse in the last few months. Plus the constant crashing its becoming a joke now. I have never known a game to suffer with such poor performance like this one. this stuff is really putting me off buy TSW6 god knows what problems that will suffer.

 

I was playing the revamped timetable with all layers active and no user liveries enabled.
