When using the BR111 the train brakes will only release to 29 and will not go any lower no matter how many times I release it. Anyone got any ideas why this is. Also how do know when to acknowledge stuff you dont get any warning a yellow circle appears then straight away you just stop. Thanks. Did you use the brake key? Did you release all brakes? Direct, electric, and train brake? If you’re on controller the acknowledge key is B (Xbox) or O (ps), keyboard it’s pg down. If you’re having difficulty I recommend driving without safety systems for now. Particularly with Indusi on this route (not PZB) you don’t get the usual magnet warnings that appear on the side of screen, so it’s always best to just acknowledge anyway after passing a yellow signal. Shame about the crashing and freezing, I’ve not had similar issues myself. Try posting in the feedback and troubleshoot forums next time a similar issue occurs.
Well you are missing out on a cracking route and train dal. However it does highlight something that rankles me a bit, I think there needs to be an option when starting a run in timetable mode to have the cab set up ready, all the switches etc. ready to drive. Unlike scenarios, you don’t get prompts how to set the cab up and it could be months since you ran the tutorial and didn’t come back to that particular loco. The one that frequently catches me out is the TGV on the LGV route, that’s a real boggart to sequence the cab set up correctly (then I forget you need to hold the brake key down to release the train brakes).
Yea i know its a cracking route i really like it. I bought it tried a long job, short job and a few scenarios and every one crashed some half way through and others at the end. Its shame I have bought it twice and had the same problems. Just dont think xbox x can handle it for some reason.
See i can play shap all day no crashing no blurriness no stuttering plays perfect one of my favourite routes love that era of British trains.
Honestly I’m yet to encounter most of the issues people have said about the these routes and being on series X, I’m not denying it happens to others I just find it weird I never see them half the time to add I only really see a few problems after using quick Resume on Xbox
