We're hoping that, whilst you're celebrating Railway 200 events of your own, you can always find daily content to relax with each morning/evening on our channels!
South Devon as expected and will be iconic. Despite being a bit of a closet Cucumber fan, feel though it will be wasted on this route and should have debuted where it could run on both electric and diesel, Reading to Bristol TM perhaps. I just hope we can get the traction sound piped into the cab as otherwise if as per prototype will be virtually silent running. Then you get Voyager really makes the Deluxe pack essential even if we hate the things in real life. Also a 221 would be more suited to this section of their operations. US route is a bit of a dark horse, not that familiar with the prototype. Looks interesting though and the older EMU could be fun to drive. German route being an extension to Dresden to Riesa a bit of an anti climax to me. So much more to be done in Germany and the section to Leipzig as I have seen in TSC is largely flat, straight and boring. In UK terms it would be akin to extending ECML from Doncaster to York, sought after by some but not adding much driving experience we don’t already have. As regards core updates, the random delays will be interesting. Announcements I can take or leave. Biggest disappointment for me is no mention of Save Game improvements - whether more slots or fixing the residual bugs, just swept down the road once more. I am actually quite pumped for the Czech and Portuguese routes, surprisingly neutral about the new JT offering and All Aboard likewise as it will be another modern era route. And all subject to appearing in game. So enough to (just) justify preordering the Deluxe version.
Already pre ordered mine they all look pretty good to me and the add ons as well especially the Portuguese route.
I assume all of the new content to come was revealed yesterday or is there more to come? Obviously some of us still had a fools hope there may be some new steam traction to go with Railway 200 lol
This is the first route/addon TSW has released that’s been on my wishlist since I started playing so I don’t feel guilty about it haha
