PS5 [conductor Mode] No Passenger To Check Class 390 Wcml

Hi, is it normal to not have passengers to check tickets in the 390 on WCML on PS5 ?
I tried several schedules and it's the same in the conductor mode, what's the point then?

 

I have had this on the Manchester Airport DLC and you end up scoring nothing for timetable as a conductor

 

Yes, its normal, and not just with the 390.

As to why, no idea.
