In all fairness, The route choice were meh , but what did you expect . It may be too early to call TSW 6 a bust so I’ll standby by and wait for the add ons , roadmaps and maybe more add-ons…Please more Amtrak at this point I'd just take the locomotive & cars if there having trouble with route selection & Santa Fe Gamepack I’m looking at you ? What happened ?
South Devon line will be good, Rivet concerns notwithstanding. However for people of my generation it would have been much nicer set in the BR Classic era with a Class 50 or even a Warship to really value thrashing over the banks. As DTG have now made it, no one else will so we can only hope a DLOGW2 follows in short order. Don’t really know much about NJT but the route looks quite scenic and if the traction sounds are good that old train looks fun to drive. The lemon certainly the decision to extend Dresden to Riesa. Good, in that it puts to bed the lie that route extensions aren’t possible, but with so much of Germany to cover and other routes more worthy of extension, 50 or 60km of flat, straight running is not stirring my juices at all. The 294 will be interesting but I would have preferred to see the slightly larger 211 or 212. I think we can also take from this Direct that steam traction remains dead and buried in future TSW. The Class 104 and new PFR timetable can also be taken as abandoned.
