Could dtg improve and increase the frequency of American routes by having an Americans based team. I believe this might help as they would have more opportunity to meet with railways to get access to material and do recordings. Also would not have the issues or costings if having to fly a team from the uk. Would like to hear your thoughts Whether you agree or disagree please keep it civil.
This might help, but to my knowledge the issue is that so many of the commuter trains are all broken up by state and share many tracks with either Amtrak or the freight companies like CSX. I don’t know much about the freight companies but I do know a lot of them have consolidated over the years. It could help with building a relationship with the other companies, but it seem that they have California and the NYC/Boston areas covered, which makes up most of the commuter train traffic in the US. Would love to hear insight from those that have way more information about this as most of this is just my personal thoughts. Would enjoy seeing more US routes though!
i think on one of the roadmap streams matt was talking about adding more us third party dev to kinda take over the America dlc area of tsw. but so far there one third party so far that making us dlc. and i think unreal engine is tricky to get in to. so dtg is mosty making us dlc for this game.
