Asked this over on the Zusi forum but Carsten has requested more information which I won’t be able to give until later. Anyhow, thought I would fire up the 294 yesterday evening on Zusi 3 in anticipation of the TSW version arriving next month. Unfortunately, whichever route and timetable run I pick, I cannot get the train brakes to operate with the usual + and - keys. Have tested the game with other motive power and the key commands work fine. So was wondering if anyone who plays Zusi could, in the meantime, shed some light on what I might be doing wrong, whether it’s user error or possibly a bug.
Update: Now answered on the Zusi forum. The 294 has a combined throttle/brake handle so you use the 8 and 2 Numpad keys. I wonder if the forthcoming DTG version will reflect that (off to Q&A to pose the question).
