Hi, TSW has brought out Welsh, UK, German and USA routes. Would an Irish route be on the cards at some point. Ireland has fantastic scenery especially along the following routes Dublin-Belfast from Dublin Connelly to Belfast Grand Central it passes through some great scenery. The train is one of a kind in Ireland as it’s run by 2 operators NI Translink and Irish Rail. Image IMG_1971 Dublin-Cork route passes from the hussle and bustle of Dublin from Houston station through the middle of the country to limerick Junction which has the only crossing track on the island and finally onto Cork City through the Mallow Tunnel. You also have the DART ( Dublin Area Rapid Transit) network from Graystones to Howth and a branch off to Malahide. It follows some fantastic costal scenery Comuter Route which runs from Grand Canal Dock to Drogheda/Dundalk this follows a lot of the city and then the coast. It also runs from Connolly Station to Maynooth on the edge of the city. In Northern Ireland you have Grand Central Station (New main hub) to Bangor (Costal Route), Londonderry or Derry City (lots of twists and turns) is also mostly single track so you have a lot of passing points at stations. Any of the routes would be fun as each have a lot of changes in speed, layers of services, elevation. The Dublin to Belfast route would give you Belfast to Newry services, comuter services from Drogheda/Dundalk, Dart services from Malahide all to Dublin. Trains do get impacted by delays around Connolly station and it also would be challenging with the time table with avg 20 trains per hour in both directions. There is a lot of history with the train network also. Would others agree with an Irish route for Train Sim World. I have attached pictures of the train sets used.
