This looks like borderline copyright infringement even if it's a real game. Not sure what the DTG reaction will be: https://store.playstation.com/en-gb/concept/10016467 Edit they also seem to have a subway game coming out in October but no screenshots or trailer hmm https://store.playstation.com/en-gb/concept/10016308
Typical PlayStation store filled with crappy AI Slop games, Sony already cleaned up the mess early this year. They also said to improve quality control while approving games but it’s all talk.
Other than it being 3 trains, there’s not anything infringing on TSW. DTG don’t have a copyright on IET’s or train simulators. That being said, as G92 said the PS store is a junkyard these days. It’s all AI slop, that title alone will be lost to 100 other AI titles within the month. Sony really need to get a grip because it’s clear they’re not looking at all at what’s being put into their storefront.
These pictures look super AI but other than that, Dovetail doesn't own copyright to the Azuma and it's variants (or any real train for that matter). Still feels like a scam though I'm not sure what the authors are trying to achieve with this.
I think it's more the 'Train Simulator' name since that could be argued to cause confusion with earlier versions of TSC. But yeah complete AI junk. Company only started in March this year lol: https://find-and-update.company-information.service.gov.uk/company/16341273
At the end of that trailer the driver has just done a SPAD. The signal hasn't gone green before departing.
