Hi Guys, Yet another silly but need to know post. On the Class 33 it has the destination Blind which you can scroll various Letters, Colour and Symbols etc. Can anyone give me some info on what I should set this to when doing these runs on the WSR? and do I need to enter anything. I found some interesting info here regarding some the Head Codes but there OK if doing big runs. Link: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/British_Rail_Class_33
Wellll.... the class 33 is a Southern Railway design, their two-digit headcodes are somewhat akin to line/route numbers on buses, trams, metros etc. On the WSR, which was never a part of the Southern Region they are purely decorational.
For all the rail enthusiasts watching me pass* I usually set it to the last two digits of the loco number. Eg. D6515 is set to 15 * Although many seem to turn their backs!
They were effectively route indicators and depended whereabouts on the Southern network you were but the codes in use were http://www.semgonline.com/headcodes/eheadcodes/eheadcodes01.html http://www.semgonline.com/headcodes/eheadcodes/eheadcodes02.html http://www.semgonline.com/headcodes/eheadcodes/eheadcodes03.html
