Hello, In real life, on the Dawlish sea wall section of the route, from Dawlish Warren to around Teignmouth, there is a public walkway that hugs the railway, with the sea on the other side. As this entire walkway will be modelled, I think being able to walk from Dawlish Warren to Dawlish would be lovely, as it’s one of my favourite walks in real life, and in game, would be a great opportunity for trainspotting. This shouldn’t be too much effort, potentially just removing invisible barriers, then allowing us to walk along this section of the route. Another (hopefully small) suggestion I have is, along this same section of route, in real life, people are always waving at the trains, with drivers often responding with waves or, if in the mood, a couple of tones. I feel like modelling this waving of pedestrians would be a small thing that would really increase the immersion, as well as giving something for the driver to respond to. Thank you for reading Any other small suggestions, leave them in the comment section!
Quite possible DTG have already done this, we will find out more when more in depth coverage of the South Devon route emerges.
