Welcome to the Unofficial Screenshot Competition! This is a fun and friendly alternative to the official Screenshot Competition run by DTG. Here you can share your weekly themed TSC screenshots using any 3rd party / post shot editing etc. creations which are not allowed in the official competition. Rules: TSC only shots allowed. Screenshot should be in some way (can be very tenuous) linked to the theme. Otherwise anything goes. You can enter up to 3 screenshots, posted as separate posts. You can delete and replace if you wish. 3rd party content / Re-shades / Reskins etc. are welcomed but are not mandatory. Previous week's winner to decide winner (can't enter themselves). The winner chooses the new theme for next week (and becomes the new judge). The Judge of the week's decision is final. We strongly discourage any negative comment or criticism of another entry by a fellow contributor. This is a light hearted & fun contest! This is a major "we are all friendly" thread and we hope it will always remain so. Please keep chat to an absolute minimum. Entries will close at 10PM GMT on Saturday, September 06th 2025 and will be judged by me - Limeyfox In the event of this week's winner not responding by 10PM GMT on Sunday, September 07th 2025, a new thread will be created using the results of this week's poll. The theme for this week is: Banker / Helper / Pilot Feel free to interpret the theme however you wish. Good luck to you all.

North America is one of the most common users of helper locomotives due to the long and steep terrain that many of their long freight trains traverse. But even on passenger trains helpers are very common sights too! Just a reminder that there are 7.5 hours left for this week's competition, currently it is a one-horse race!
Welcome to the 1980's. The "Lickey Bankers" lie in wait just south of Bromsgrove station awaiting their next assignment, which will be to help the holiday express up the steep Lickey incline as 37003 can't handle the steep climb alone.
Without the help of the 37191 & 37305 bankers on the rear, this holiday express would never have made it up the famous Lickey Incline alone.
A fairly small selection this week but some excellent shots nonetheless. In third place, this lovely study of a pair of Growlers ready to do their thing at Bromsgrove: In second place, this unusual (and unknown to me) pair of South African electric locomotives ascending an incline: And this week's winner, this fabulous 'trains in all directions' shot from Craigie-C - excellent stuff! No shortage of banking engines in sight, presumably they're shortly to tackle the Worsborough Incline. Onward to next week! Over to you Craigie-C.
Thanks for that Limeyfox much appreciated, also my congrats to Blazin for a great set of shots. Onward we go to week 34 with the theme Bridges / Viaducts https://forums.dovetailgames.com/threads/unofficial-screenshot-competition-week-34-2025.93606/ Good luck all, have fun
