Class 37 Epx What Is Going On With The Safety Systems?

This always occurs when dragging some form of Electrostar.
I activated the all the safety systems for the sake of earning more AP and possibly adding to immersion but neither of those matters when I have no idea why I'm constantly getting emergency brake applications for seemingly no reason.

No alarm goes off that I then miss. I'm not approaching red aspects to quickly or speeding.

After some messing around I've found it only happens when I enable DSD but I hear no alarm to acknowledge. Am I missing another switch to turn an alarm on?

 

Depending on where you are and the route it’s possible you could be tripping tpws the so called cattle grids which can be active often if signals showing anything other than green

 

I have also had this issue with the DSD, I have found it on multiple other types of stock, Class 66’s up until TSW3, and Class 313’s.

 

Oh it sounds like a unresolved bug habe you submitted bug report?

 

I can't remember exactly, but I think I heard it said that safety system alerts can play through the controller speaker. There might be something in the options menu about it

 

It's weird though because there are times I go over them and nothing happens. But then seemingly for no reason when I haven't seen TPWS magnet I get an emergency brake application.

I do think it is DSD because when I turn it off this doesn't happen.

 

Yep that’s a good thing to try and if it doesn’t work I’d put a bug report in as this train will move to tsw6

 

This is still an issue.

Class 37/7

You get a yellow alert on the hud, but no sound and no ability to clear it through clicking B (xbox), only way is to manually click on the dsd pedal.

Does not happen in every scenario though.

I am going to do some more investiagting.
