Hello All! I'm Casual Rail as some may have seen I am an ambassador and I make content on TikTok for TSW. I am looking to start my own 3PP studio and would like to see if anyone wants the chance to work on a route for the game. I am a beta tester and have registered to join the 3PP programme when there is a space. How to get involved? If you have experience with the public editor and are confident with the way it works I'd love to hear from you so... Get in touch with me at casualrail@gmail.com or message me on Discord at Casual Rail. Please send me some examples of what you have created and what skills you have! I hope to hear from some of you soon!
No it doesn’t, I’m starting a brand new project. Just looking for anyone who is happy using the editor
I’m not willing to say as I’m hoping to get content into the game officially so anyone who joins will be expected to keep things private.
So, this is how I understand it. You are looking for people who can build tracks with the TSW Editor, which you then want to publish as your own for TSW. And so far, it's not private at all, so you could also say what and how you are involved in the project. Otherwise, I hardly believe you will find people who will build what you want for you.
Oh Dear. Yeah I do have a starter route planned and have started on it. It is in fact private as I’ve been in touch with the 3PP team. There’s other things I can’t talk about publicly because of NDA’s I’ve signed. After the starter route it would be up for discussion as to what route we took on next. That’s how every 3PP works so I’m not sure why you’re being that negative about it. If you don’t think it’s for you that’s fine but someone who sees the message might be right up for it.
It's alright, whatever your doing I'm sure it will turn out great. Don't let others comments put yourself down as it's good we are getting more third party's into tsw
I guess what they are saying is similar to my feeling. I don't use TikTok at all, and have no idea about you at all or what you do. I think it will be difficult to find people to get on board with your project if they have no idea what they are signing up for. By which I mean, we have no idea of your experience with creating in games, the scope of your project, how people will be compensated (IE, if you are willing to pay to hire them) for their work on your project. If you want serious people to take notice, I think a little more detail might be necessary, at the very least outline what skills you are looking for - asset builders, timetablers, loco-builders, sound engineers etc (and if you say anything & everything, people will wonder what your contribution will be). A bit more information and people will be a lot more confident in joining in, I suspect. Just my thoughts on the matter. Best of luck, I look forward to seeing where this leads!
I would love to say more but this is really just a way of reaching out to people that might not have the full knowledge to make a route on their own. What I’m trying to do is bring people together that have different skills. One might be good at making custom buildings, one might be better at scenarios. Hopefully that makes sense. I can’t talk about the project but if people want a way into development and get in touch I can talk about it more. I myself don’t know how payment works but really at this stage that does not and should not matter as it all starts with passion
