This is great, of course, but I play with a gamepad and would not like to use the keyboard. Therefore, it is a natural question, considering that there is no keyboard on consoles. Will it be in the second feature set?

 

Not going to lie I love both of them, I even see the db br 204 as the little sister of the DB BR 294 hehehe

 

I think we really need to detach all locomotives from routes. Imagine if the 363 and 143 from DRA was separate to the route, you could uninstall the route, but keep the trains to layer onto the new route. Similarly if there was just one Class 66 that just layered onto every UK route instead of having 10x different versions of the same thing.

 

Considering the fact that the Dresden - Leipzig route does not bring any new locomotives or wagons, it would certainly be very nice if the 1442 S-Bahn set was also included ..... implementation via the DLC layer and the necessary purchase and layering of another map seems unfortunate to me .......

And then one observation, I don't know if it's the work in progress style, but it seemed to me that there wasn't extra heavy traffic there, nor were the freight stations crowded at all......

 

Red light problem, couldn't complete the service.
PC with all layers turned on and it's almost a ghostown.
It's got 'Wait for sale' in big letters.

Hoping the other two are better.

 

In my opinion, the Dresden–Leipzig stream was an insult.
Nothing has been improved in the old part of Dresden–Riesa; the old overhead lines are still there, while the new part has new overhead lines.

And the best part was that the ICE was stopped at a red signal in Dresden because loads of trains weren't moving, even though the train had a green signal.

And in 14 days, TSW6 will be released, and you couldn't show these new features in the stream either, because they don't even work yet.

How is the dispatcher supposed to cope when the new features are activated if he can't even manage it when they are deactivated?

For me, this route is simply not what one would have expected.
Once again, the motto here is ‘little work, lots of money.

Doesn’t look good does it. A lot of stuff l feel is released far too early and then we have to wait for a fix.

My biggest gripe is that TSW6 is a separate game and doesn’t install over TSW5 and we annually have to redownload all our content again which is a real pain in an extreme slow internet area.

 

Exactly as you write, I definitely have mixed feelings about it and I'm not in a position to have it pre-ordered and be in a position, I have to have it ....... and the English and American railways are a marginal topic for me, more of a local distraction ...... I'm a little disappointed and when I see the style it's starting to take shape in again, I don't expect much improvement on these consoles, quite the opposite .....

 

Yesterday I saw the Leipzig - Dresden route video.
The route looks nice.

But I noticed 2 things:

- When they were driving the ICE -T from Leipzig up to Riesa ( it was a long one...), I noticed almost, there were no other trains passing by on the other track!

- The scenery around, was fully of trees, with no much diverse scenery around.
Of course it appears the big freight yard, which is great.

The stations and train announcement, are really nice!
Despite they are in German - of course - it provides a more real experience.

 

Ive asked this question in another thread but want to try it here, hoping for a clear answer on this matter :

Theres no DB Br 101 Expert in Timetable mode On Leipzig - Dresden

And therefore my question is : can i get a guarantee that i definitely will be able to spawn the Expert 101 on Leipzig - Dresden ? (PS5 standard) You are advertising that i will be able to spawn any loco/train on any route in TSW6. As this is not the case for TSW 5, i would like to have a clarification on this.

Didn't watch the stream yet but, reading that the old route wasn't updated even for the old problem isn't the best start for me, same for train sounds that wasn't updated. Let's see if this could change before release or not, in this last option it's better see how's going on the other route

 

You can do in Free Roam

 

Yeah, if you wanna drive a Train on an Empty Route. Im talking about timetable mode. As i wont be able to take the Expert in timetable mode as its excluded and obviously wanna drive my 30€+ DLC on upcoming routes also. Without having to pay for every upcoming german expert Loco.

So a simple answer as "yes" or "no" would be helpful.

Im not asking without a reason, it has shown that the amount of DLC you own and have installed has seems to have a direct impact on how limited you are in spawning trains in TT mode.

Lets not forget that they always tell us "oh and you obviously can spawn the Loco in question on every Route if its not implemented in TT Mode"

Thinking about it, obviously they are stating this very vaguely, shifting around the memory problem which still persists.

 

It's a pity that the section between Leipzig-Engelsdorf and Leipzig-Stötteritz through the city tunnel is not included.

 

Not to mention that Free Roam gives you no timetable to run to and no AP or accumulated mileage for the train and route in question.

 

This is actually a really good point. Free Roam without the timetable is boring and pointless to me.

I was not aware that installed DLC was a limit on what you could place in Free Roam- i've also had trouble spawning the Expert 101, but i just assumed it was a particularly memory intensive route or something, but i have just about all DLC installed, so that could be the issue.

I'm hoping the promised memory optimizations will improve this issue in TSW6, but i'll believe it when i see it lol

 

A recently posted video also shows that the overhead wire is missing.

This isn't supposed to be like that. Most OHLE routes in TSW have missing catenary somewhere lol

 

The e94, pictured there, is not a diesel locomotive

What you mentioned above, is the reason I use Free Roam - which is a great "tool" for me to make driving most interesting, and includes trains on every route, which "by default", you are not allowed.
But you have issues sometimes where you can not do it, do to enough memory use.

I experienced for the first time, in the new Koln - Aachen much more traffic.
I wanted to add another train, not available on this route, but a "Not possible to add" or something like that, message appears.

Oh I ran what he said through Google Translate. My point being more the guy has several times now ignored the forum convention that posts should be in English. Apologies if he doesn’t speak the language but better for one person to run their post through Translate and publish it, than everyone on the forum, the majority of whom don’t speak much, if any German.

That's true- it applies to new locos. But not to pre-TSW3 locos, like those in DRA.

 

But I'm right in thinking we've still got multiple versions of the same loco, one from each route that comes with DLC?

 

The screenshot of the E94 is probably taken at Leipzig Paunsdorf towards Leipzig Hbf. That track has no Overhead wire, perhaps the E94 is shoved by a diesel.

Yes, that's the case for me too, as my browser automatically translates the pages into German.

That's why you have to switch off the browser's automatic translation function before you write a reply.

Then you have to reload the page with F5, and only then can you copy your reply into the reply field at the bottom in English.

After that, you can switch the browser's automatic translation function back on again.

 

What i have seen on the TSP stream right now:

The issues with this route in the current livestream are still present, despite all the promises. Every time a bug appears, it's always the same: "Yes, a patch is coming..." Just assume this route isn't properly playable. It's a mess. They did two runs and already got over five promises of "a patch is coming"... I'm skeptical!!!

Be prepared for a mediocre product.
