The New Tsw6 Routes Added To My Google Routes Map

I have just added the new TSW6 routes on my Google Maps route map. Here's the link

 

Huh, no Blackpool, Long Beach, or Worcester?

 

Yeah there's quite a few missing, like the other MBTA route.
But still it's pretty well done where they are done.

 

It's quite interesting to see where there are areas of the UK that have less routes than others. For example Wales, Hampshire/Dorset and that ear-shaped bit of Great Britain that contains Norfolk and Suffolk.

Yeah, I was just surprised because there's so much work put in that the missing ones really jump out by their absence.

Okay, now THAT'S impressive dedication. I shall take the public shaming gracefully.

 

Dresden to Coswig via Fridrichstadt part is missing for Leipzig-Dresden. Also no San Bernadino line from LA Union

 

Don't forget to add The Mildmay, Suffragette and WCML South add to the map
Also there a lot of gaps in between the routes
Like need to be a route from Eastbourne to Ashford
Route from Koln to Wuppertal and Koblenz A
Route from Frankfurt/Hanau to Aschaffenburg
Route from Frankfurt to Bad Vilbel
Route from Oldenburg to Groningen
Route from München to Rosenheim and Garmisch Partenkrchen

 

Good map - it'll be nice to see this grow as Czechia, Portugal and Japan routes are released too!

WHAT ??? You have a time machine so that you can see which routes are made by DTG the next ten years ? Or are you just a clearvoyant ?

You nearly got me. But as you can see on my profile photo on the left, I definetly know there's no Cologne-Wuppertal route.

 

Yep the Mildmay, Suffragette and WCML South need to be add to the map

 

San Bernardino, WCML South, Mildmay Line, Cardiff City Line and London Overground Suffragette are online!

And Leipzig - Dresden is complete now.

Which route do you mean with Grand Central to Stamford? Is this a missing part?

 

The map currently has the old NEC route, but DTG have announced a new NY to Stamford route with two branches running from separate NY termini. The full map has been revealed.



It combines remaking elements of the old NEC route which was never brought to TSW2 and beyond, with extending it to Stamford and including Metro North commuter services alongside the express ones provided by Amtrak.

This is fantastic! So much so that I created a forum account to say so. I've been desperate for something like this for ages as the in-game map doesn't give a sense of place/geography.

I did notice something that's missing though: the Levenmouth extension/update (for Fife Circle) isn't on there, just the original route. But thanks for all the effort you put into this.

 

Hm, this looks good, when the line is announced and we have more details, I'll add it too. Promised !!

Yeah, I was playing the Leven branch recently. Should at least be easier to add than some of the other stuff.

It was actually quite entertaining how back the first time I streamed it for folks, when I tried to show them it on google maps for comparison, there wasn't yet up to date footage of the line, and the stations had yet to be constructed on the existing imagery.

 

Ooooops! Of course it belongs to Bernau am Chiemsee ! Don't know how it jumped to Berlin. Must have been rather early when I made that...

I made the route after the wikipedia map of the Fife Circle Line, as I had no other resource. Is this the branch to Leven after Glenrothes with Thornton via Cameron Bridge ?

Okay, that was an easy one.

 

When Rivet were adding it, they had to go and survey the route in a chartered plane, it was so new.

 

I have added the announced Birmingham - Crewe Line (UK).

Looking at this map, what the UK really needs is a Milton Keyes - Northampton - Birmingham route.

That way you could travel from Eastborne to Crewe in the modern era.
What a journey that would be.

And then, a Crewe to Manchester via the Manchester Airport...

looks good but what is the brown route that is from New Rochelle goes past Penn Station NYC and then ends at Newark International?

 

That's the old NEC route from the original TSW that never got ported across to later versions.
It's going to effectively be supplanted this year with the new NY-Stamford route.

Speaking of, any word on that getting added, as the release approaches?
