Short railway line with little development needed compared to other routes with diesel, steam and even modern day class 220s and GWR 800s, 801s and 802s and modern day freight trains all as ai services reusing old and new Tsw content!
Could be interesting if done like the old Doncaster works addon for TSC. Lots of shunting scenarios and also perhaps a break for some demo runs up and down the two demonstration lines. Would need steam to return to make the most of it though (hopefully one day).
Remember going there with my grandparents once, don't remember much about the railway centre, but do remember my grandfather deciding that sitting in the station watching the mainline trains would be more interesting then me sitting there worried that someone from the station would get angry about us not actually being there to get a train.
It's a museum more than a heritage line. Im a member there and waiting on my application for volunteering. Would be good to have it on say, a Reading to swindon/Oxford route though.
I imagine some elements of the didcot railway centre would be included if we ever get a Reading to Bristol route, much like in the way the Carnforth steamtown appears on WCMLoS.
