Hey, I created my own timetable for th Br187 with dostos. It starts driving but I can never open the doors (PS5). Is that normal? because the button is there in the cab. And my controller also reacts to that. But it won't open. Is there a way (except for using the outside camera and open every door by hand)? I know that the br187 is cargo but the br147 irl is the same inside and this br187 in game has the button to open PASSENGER doors (states it). Thank you! and since this is also a general discussion thread I would like to recommend (and have your opinions) to DTG to let us use the Br187 (just change the name to 147 no big deal) for passenger service for the dostos in timetable mode. It's really annoying driving the dostos only with the old stuff (except for br146). And taurus is also very much needed for more timetable mode journeys I mean its really no big deal especially for the taurus its available at Leipzig rapid transit and that's it. this is really annoying because I hate cargo trains and I never drive them but I (and I think many players too) wanna drive the taurus (BR182) and the 187/147 on passenger service to have some healthy variety except for only 146 and the old ones which all pretty much look the same (111-114 and 140-150 don't know the names of them all the same looking old stuff except for 146). Please DTG, I bought the Taurus Br182 add on only for Leipzig and thought that I could at least use the loco in other routes for passenger service. why not implement it I mean nothing needs to be changed really
The 187 is a freight only locomotive. To my knowledge it doesn't even have door buttons, and if it does, those are non-functional as they are not required.

and yes it has the door buttons and my controller reacts to them. wouldn't be a big of a deal to just implement it, but I surely think this this would never happen even if some players ask. and with the br182 freight version (without the add on for the passenger version the doors can be opened)
Just so you know, the likelihood of DTG upgrading the BR187 is about 0.1%. At this point the 187 can unfortunately be considered abandonware. How anyone can drive it with that horrendous shrieking sound it makes is beyond me. I’d like to drive it but the terrible noise that thing emits makes this impossible so I only use it on AI trains in my self-created scenarios.
but at the taurus br182 its possible for the freight version of the train (which doesn't have PIS). and because of the br423 im just saying no one earns money and if dtg would make it comfortable and easy for you in communications etc. why not give it to them so really every player can enjoy your beautiful created sound? soooo so many players would be really grateful, myself included. please if they contact you make it happen for all the players I mean no one earns money through it, its easy to do and no big deal, you would be more highly respected and all the players can finally enjoy the br423 which is important because its on many many routes. There are only only winners!
please myron think about it. it would help so many people! actually I tink someone has seen my thread because in the livestream on YouTube from tsw player Felix der weise this was mentioned (not by me, really) idk if you're German maybe you saw it. someone asked if Felix knows myron because he wanted that your beautiful sound mods become standard for tsw locos with very bad sounds and he quoted I think br422 or 423 as example and like half of the chat (there were about 100 viewers) stated that they would really love to see it cause many players only have consoles. and it really wasn't me I just saw it afterwards (now lol) and thought to tell you that cause the work is done and if dog contacts you it would be no big deal to finish that for the sake of many many players as many wished on the livestream. would love to see it happen if dtg treats you well and imo if money as you stated earlier isn't a topic here then I really don't see a big deal there would only be winners, especially the players who have horrible sounds and cant change it. I actually had a dream with this horrible sound from the br423 maybe its a sign to change it with your work of beauty lol
