Does the Wind weather setting have any impact on the game? Like does it have affect on your braking or speed??

I don't believe so? I think it just plays sounds really, and maybe has an effect on temperature and other weather aspects.

It affects the LZB speed limit on Kassel - Würzburg. If you set the wind speed high then you are limited to 200km/h.

It play sounds? I remember the wind howling before. But in TSW5 I don't hear it. Maybe some mods issue. But I don't have any mods for the sounds of nature.

Now that you mention it I haven't heard it in a while either. I remember in particulay hearing it a lot in older trains though so maybe the internal sound just hasn't been put into the newer ones.

I think it adds some movement to the trees too. It's mainly there for visuals and sounds only by the looks of it.

That whistle sound in the cab drives me to insanity. I’ve always hated it, it’s like an itch you can’t scratch and get rid off.
Apparently having the wind on a high setting can add this effect. Luckily I never have this slider turned up so I don’t hear it. TSW2/3 it was more common.
