Maybe its a bad thing if you are only just buying the game but come on, I have like about 25 different of the same EWS shed now, is it really a bad thing for it not to be included yet again. Maybe if they made a different freight loco or 66 livery for each route it would be different. But seriously to me, this feels like such a pointless and bad thing to complain about(?)

I don't know, maybe this is a bad take from me, but I feel like most of us would prefer not to have 150 of the same EWS 66s.

 

You can take this as a joke. But there's a grain of truth to it. I want to get rid of some of the old routes that I'm tired of, but I have to keep them for the one locomotive. For a locomotive that already has so many copies that no one will notice another one.
And yes, I believe that the Class 66 and the BR146 with dostos, should become a basic feature of the game, and simply be given for free as part of the game core, rather than being released several times every year as a 'new' ones.

 

Hello would when doing guard mode with the driver finally give you two back on the buzzer like they do in real life? As ever since guard mode has been implemented I don’t remember the driver in game ever giving my two back on the buzzer. They normally just set off when only one is given as well.

Good question hated that the 801 door controls. The ones where you insert the key never worked from the cab and had to change the key to key only to close them.

 

I support this concern about rivet and I’m not frightened to bad mouth them, they are flipping useless with a track record of never going back and fixing anything they produce. After last year I’m not preordering anything they might have been involved in. Period.
as for making the route modern instead of retro that’ll likely be down to console sales as most of those players just want to whizz around in silent airliners without wings.
As for the sea I can almost guarantee it will be like a mill pond.

 

Another question on the announcements, has the volume been raised since that initial 5 minute preview video? They seemed just right at Hoboken station on the American stream.

I know the volume can be adjusted in the settings menu, but if the loudest settings option is too quiet, then the only way to make it appear louder is to reduce the volume of everything else.

 

Does the 802 have cruise control/speed set. If so will it e enabled.

 

What announcements are we getting ?

 

Will the 150 have a more realistic flange squeal? Unlike the horrendous noise the WCL model has.

 

Will the Europhoenix ROG 37 be programmed so we can couple and haul Rivera line trains ?

 

Platform ones announcing the next train, and on-train ones

 

Will the waves along the shoreline splash over the track like irl? Lol

 

If we lucky they might though I’m unsure how resource intensive this would be

 

Is the HST with the dragon livery included in the route?

 

I did notice in live videos of the line there are walkways or paths along the route if there will be foot traffic in game

 

Without water physics it won't be resource intensive. Just a visual. If it made by an experienced dev, you won't notice the difference in performance.

What will the Class 802 sounds be like;
- what’s new/ improved and reused (reused from the 801). (In other words how different will the sounds be from the 801?)
- Where will the diesel/ electric motor sounds be sourced from?.
- Are door sounds louder as they should be (801 is too quiet) and timed so it actually fits with the door animation as per reality (Another 801 issue).
- Have the sounds for relevant item had their loudness increased, as they are not as loud as they should be/ are irl.


- Same functional elements on the TMS screen or new features added?.
- Will the horn have the original tone as it should in real life (The Class 801’s use KSJ).
- Will the train wash button work?
- Will the power change buttons work correctly (pressing them for a few secs before they light up and operate the relevant function). Will the ‘Electric’ and ‘Diesel’ buttons work so that when holding them down for 10 seconds they automatically switch power modes?
- How different will the 802 be from the 801 in terms of everything else but sounds

Will there be seagulls? Seeing as we travelling near the Dawlish coast and beaches. I would expect to be hearing a lot of ha-ha-ha-ha or keow sounds, by Kamikaze seagulls stealing npc’s air pods that they mistakenly thought were chips.

I just hope when they do the stream the route/trains are top notch. Because its the day before release so I would have thought there are showing the gold product and the not working progress version.

 

Is the infamous 'Driver mode' bug (non functional MFD's on consoles) finally fixed ? If the answer is yes, any way of showing us a short vid proving this during the stream? I take it the preview stream will be on pc

 

Does the route come with all sidings (depot or otherwise) and platforms accessible for Scenario Creation?
Will you add in "Go Via" markers to the through lines at Dawlish Warren and Totnes so that it is simple to design overtaking in Scenarios?
Are there portals, that are useable in Scenario Creation, at all points of the route where trains might be viewed entering or leaving the route?
Will the Save function work correctly in scenarios?
If not, Why not?

Question about another long lasting bug: the fact that accumulated raindrops/snow on windows disappears when you switch to between cab cam and outside cam. Will that be fixed in TSW6 ?

 

How many services do the Class 43 HST and Class 166 from GWE have on this route?

Why doesn't the 802 (and a few other trains) not have train faults at launch? What faults will it have? Can it be guaranteed that thus won't end up taking right to the end of TSW6 and into TSW7 like suspension from TSW4 took right to the end and into TSW5?

 

Please tell me Riverside yard is included

"Players with the West Somerset Railway Add-on and Riviera Line will see the Class 150 services replaced with the GWR version, which was used in real life during the 2019 shuttle trials that took place. The Class 220 Voyager will also appear as AI on the short section of Great Western main line, for players with Deluxe/Special Edition or the loco Add-on. These changes will be implemented in an update post-launch."

 

Are the Voyager layers on the BCC 170 timetable all AI, or are some drivable?

 

Are random failures detectable if you drive without HUD or you must have that pop up window to know what is wrong?

 

How many playable and AI services are on the route?

 

The route article published today is really good, especially on the timetable. For the railtours and other special services would it possible to get a table layout published showing the services and layers required? This just makes it a bit clearer as a quick reference and avoids any confusion.
