I Believe this route would be a good start for multiple freight services coming in and out of the port of LA, (BNSF. UP) Also i just like to have more switching/shunting job scenarios. Route The Pacific Harbor Line stretches from the ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach and has trackage rights toward industries in Compton. The Route is 19 miles and Handles most types of cargo. This route would mainly be Shunting/Switching, dispatching trains for the UP and BNSF. The PHL Also run switching actions in Compton for Reyes Industrial and Cargill/PCCR USA. And as I said earlier the port of LA/LB could be used as a starting point for quite a few UP and BNSF freight Routes. The UP Mead yard is also in close proximity to the ports. Also i realize that this is a pretty large area for a shunting/switching route but, that's why i thought of the ports of LA/LB to be also starting points for freight routes, so that people who don't like switching/shunting jobs aren't left out and such. I'm also not to sure if this would be a DLC or a base route for uh, what number are we on again? Locomotives the Pacific Harbor Line Owns 25 locomotives. and also has leased some. MP20C-3 (MPI) (Most are rebuilt GP-40's) MP20B-3 (PRG) (Rebuilt GP-40 and GP-38) 3GS21B (NRE) (bought new) 3GS21C (bought new) Shunting/Switching mode idea I just wanted a throw an idea out for a shunting/switching scenario, I think would be a fun addition. Basically an endless mode, just locomotives coming in and out collecting trains that've been shunted for them. obviously empty cars would be brought in to be loaded so its not just like, unrealistic and cars just spawn from thin air. would be nice as setting up my own shunting scenarios can get tedious and overall the scenario editor just feels awful to use (IMO) End + Map I wouldn't be surprised if this route doesn't get put in TSW as we have had quite a few LA based routes lately (I just wanted a south bay LA line I guess) , so I expect this not to be considered for a while. I just thought it might be a good addition to the game and honestly i just wanted more shunting/switching routes, and it made me think of the closest railway to me which was the PHL. (I hope this wasn't annoying to read or anything lol.)
