Well looks like I'm throwing in the towel for TSW5 and now waiting for TSW6. I ended up with 587 hours on TSW5 before the transition. I had a similar number with TSW4/3 so around 1500-1600 hours on this game total. But how many hours have you guys racked up if you're planning on switching to the new game?
I’ve just reached 1300 hours today, roughly similar to all years since TSW2020. I’m probably not far off 8,000 hours of TSW in total. I don’t think I’ll be keeping that pace up for TSW6 as I’ve been playing less and less in recent months and that’ll likely continue. I still enjoy driving trains but it’s no longer a daily ‘must do’ activity now like it has been for a few years.
How does one find that info on other systems other than the PS5? This means: Xbox (One, X/S), PS4 and lastly on PC (Steam, Epic Store, MS Store). Please and thank you
Just 55hrs on TSW5… think this version has been the peak of “waiting for things to be fixed /arrive” stuff like the blurry textures /optimisation issues put me off for a lot of the year… not sure if suffragette line is even fixed on PS5 or if you need to install loads of layers? That just makes the route less appealing, so end up just not playing it. Fife Circle… still waiting for the timetable update; this one is particularly annoying as sounds like it’s been delayed while all the existing content got re-certified again for TSW6… that’s just going to make waiting for fixes or updates worse as more content comes out… although did appreciate the new lease of life for E2G Found myself getting back into it recently though, so hopefully 6 will have a much higher clock!
I got see piccy, very few on TSW compared to Train Sim and while they can not get the physics of steam engines etc correct, so you can get say, the Jubilee or Class 8 to climb the Licky with more than 5 wagons on well Train Sim it is.
760 hours in TSW5, which is almost the same as what I did in TSW3 and 4 combined. TSW2 still holds the crown at 1200 hours (but that version lasted for about two years). Overall, I have about 3100 hours in TSW series of games since TSW2020.
Those with over a thousand hours, do you play other games (of course TSC doesn't count) and how long ? That's an honest question.
I think it's difficult. TSW 5 came out just over a year ago, so to reach 1,000 hours in a year, you'd need to play almost three hours a day.
Right now I'm clocking 1050 hours of TSW5, compared to 830 hours of TSW4, 700 hours of TSW3 and 150 hours of TSW2. Dunno how much that statistic is worth though, since sometimes I pause for a while if something else comes up, leave the game running and come back later. Saturdays are especially dangerous, could happen that I start a nice little 50-minute service at 8:00 and finally finish it around 13:00 Regarding which other games I'm playing: TSW is my main game in the recent months. But I also still enjoy some Transport Fever 2 from time to time, another one of those games where you can sink a lot of time into. Then occasionally other sims or a bit of Strategy, but not that much... Currently it's 75% TSW, 20% TpF2, 5% others I'd say.

122 hours on tsw 5. About the same as previous iterations. As someone further up said, it's been the peak of waiting for things this time. I don't have a lot of time to play so I want to play quality routes that are "finished". That means Fife hasn't featured once for me during TSW5 because we've been waiting for the 158. Gwr hasn't because we've been waiting for the remaster etc etc.
If the Riviera line looks like the US route it will for sure The US route was amazing!! The German route i have mixed feelings but there is potential for sure.

183 hours on TSW5 and that sounds a lot! Fair play to anyone with those ridiculous figures, you must literally sit and play for hours on end!
Once TSW6 is installed and all my content is moved over can I then delete TSW5 and TSW4 off my console. I purchased the Deluxe Edition of TSW6. Thanks in advance!
Yeah you can but not needed. All content is available in TSW6 so i have no clue why you should keep them. But its not mandatory.
