As the title states… Tried closing and restarting Steam but still no option to install. Now rebooting PC see if that clears the decks.
Same here. I tend to find new games don't always release bang on time on Steam. Maybe TSW6 is stuck at one of the new random red signals.
This is why they need to get off their posteriors and give us a preload. Though if that’s what the XBoxers got, maybe not!
Rather hoping we don't lose the internet in the village tonight. I sat down to watch Port Vale v Arsenal at 19:55 last night and the internet went down as the teams came out. It came back 10 minutes after the match finished. I was a little annoyed.
17 minutes to download the remaining 170/200gb @ 1.6gbps..... I feel sorry for those with slower connections...
Good to go now, but while probably not DTG’s fault on this one, you shouldn’t need to have to restart the Steam app or the PC to trigger it. 35 minutes here to download the core game and new routes, no DLC selected yet. Off to play some Farming Sim and try it out later.
Two good results. Cardiff through to the next round and your suggestion worked. That's a tasty game in the next round against Wrexham. Best of luck, I still like Cardiff thanks to Aaron Ramsey and I'll never forgive Wrexham for one of my least favourite away trips back in the 90s.

At work atm, so can't start the download til i get home. Have they by any chance lowered file sizes lol? I think it was 420GB the last time i reinstalled TSW5. Probably gonna d/l the NY/NJ stuff first cause i'm really excited for that route. Does anyone know if we need anything besides: NYT, LIRR1, and Acela for all layers? Anything for static freight?
As we look at Steam, I am getting it but at a blazing 65 Mbps which means it will take 14 hours plus to download everything. I have Fios which normally gives me 800+ Mbps on download.
I'd do what OldVern suggested a few days ago. Just download what you want to use in TSW6 for now. Gradually download your other content over the next few days when you're doing other stuff. I've kept my TSW5 install for now, just in case I fancy driving a different route.
I had dropped the layers for the three routes back in but at the last minute took them out. Will then add in a few at a time then the rest as and when I come to play it. Hopefully about 5 minutes unless of course Steam then reruns the verify/install again at the end of the process as it sometimes does. So really, by the time all this is sorted it's only 4 days early access.
So, it appears that transferring .pak files from TSW5 may work. I don't know if anyone else wants to try it out with one .pak at a time to confirm?
Dispatcher scenario is underwhelming. You're just standing there until doors close and then you blow your whistle to the driver... https://www.twitch.tv/tm__plays not sure if we're allowed to shamelessly plug our channels lol
Is there no free upgrade to TSW6 for owners of TSW5 this time round?! If there is I can't see it on steam!
