Platform - PS5 Pro This route too suffers with random bursts of choppy audio that scares the bejesus out of me
My first thoughts: - I think the Leipzig underground station should have been included even if you couldn't actually drive in the tunnel, it would be nice to explore and don't see why it was deleted - Ideally the tunnel would also have been included as well as the airport branch - It would be nice to see the freight yards more busy and used more - I think the original Dresden - Reisa sections of the route should have got some upgrades - I like the BR 294 and think it was a good choice, but I think the route itself should have come with new rolling stock
It seems Dresden-Leipzig has got its own BR143 and BR 363. I thought the DB BR 143 and 363 were only available with Dresden-Riesa, nice to see that it is different.
Ps5 trying to do any of the ice services from Dresden game crashes before I even load on. Unless it is very late or early
At Leipzig Hbf you can start the 411 on PS5. But the price I think is that you have only one train there.
On my PS5 Pro too, so far I've been looking for tasks in foot mode, and then when loading the timetable service, so too... I haven't used any service yet so I don't know if it also happens when driving a train..... EDIT: This happens even while driving the train, it's very unpleasant, I always get scared
Yeah, same for me. Specifically, the 12:19 service with a lot of popping prior to crashing. This is the first time I've ever had a crash on PS5. Also, several services have you uncoupling cars at the beginning, but I can't uncouple them either on foot or with the camera. When I selected auto couple in the settings, it eventually said, "objective completed" after pressing several times, and I was able to go on my way. But I noticed that the 7 cars never actually uncoupled and were taken along for the ride. Do the ICE trains uncouple differently?
PS5 Pro So far I've taken the RE50 at 10:00 from Leipzig, and after Riesa station the textures on BR146 and Dostos started to blur slightly...... and that's basically it. I tried uninstalling the old Dresden-Riesa map, because I feel like the only benefit is the substitution of MRCE 185 (if I missed something and it adds something else, please someone correct me), and I also changed the settings to HD and the result was the same......
The shorter version of the route doesn’t really provide for the longer, it’s more for other routes in the game which are quite dependent on the older version of the route. As for the blurring though, it makes the whole thing a write off for me, there are multiple layers needed to get that route to a decent amount of traffic & the fact it’s happening even with base rolling stock is not acceptable. DTG really need to pull their finger out & get that fixed - something that should have happened prior to TSW6’s release.
Steam The SIFA alert for BR 442 did not sound. I believe it displayed on the screen after 30 seconds and the alert occurred a few seconds later. Upon arriving at the station, the white SIFA text suddenly appeared on the front display, but the alert did not sound. I was then unable to release the brakes. Additionally, I cannot hear the PZB acknowledge and release sounds. Without a manual, I cannot determine if this is due to incorrect vehicle setup or if it is the actual vehicle's specification. In previous titles, the alert did sound. https://www.youtube.com/live/JQh8RTQmF70?si=sJ0eH5Gvq_5nrvgt&t=2158
Drive past empty stock and blurry textures happen constantly. And this is on PS5 Pro which is more powerful. They need to change their product description. Preorder today and receive 5x days of beta access before release.
Probably something stupid I missed somewhere. But there is a section of the track where there are blue signs, one of them almost looks like a smiley face but its blue with white rectangles in it. However every time I go past this section using AFB, my train just starts losing power and slows down. The only way to fix it is by putting reverser in neutral, providing power and going back into screen to turn AFB back on. Is this a glitch, or is that meant to happen. If so what are they?
Cant Play the Route as every timetable service to try and do crashes the game to desktop im playing on PC Stream and have mods installed from TSW5 i moved over also did verifying of the files nothing works not happy at all please fix this issue asap DTG
Sweet thanks. Was not certain so appreciate the clarification. Looked this up online, so I guess I should be doing this prior to arriving at them. I did not do Step 1 so lucky my loco did not have a fault error per say Operational Procedures When a train approaches a neutral section, the following procedures are typically observed: 1 Power Cut-off: The train's driver is required to cut off power before entering the neutral section to avoid drawing an arc across the electrical isolation. This is crucial for preventing damage to the train's electrical systems. 2 Pantograph Management: Depending on the specific instructions indicated by trackside signals, the driver may need to lower the pantograph (the apparatus that collects power from the overhead lines) while passing through the neutral section. 2 Resuming Power: After passing through the neutral section, the driver can resume power and raise the pantograph, allowing the train to continue its journey.
Good morning, We're sorry you're experiencing crashes. We recommend removing all your mods and reinstalling them one by one. It's very likely that a compatibility issue with one or more of your mods is causing this problem. If the crashes continue after removing any potentially problematic mods, please let us know. All the best, Jan
Good morning, You're correct, the square blue signs indicate neutral sections. It starts with this sign, indicating an upcoming neutral section: This is then typically followed by this sign, indicating the start of the neutral section: Finally, the end of a neutral section is indicated by this sign: Best practice is to turn of your MCB (Main Circuit Breaker) shortly after passing through the first signal, but in all cases before the second signal. You can then then "coast" through the neutral section. You can turn the MCB back on once your train has completely passed through the neutral section. Lowering the pantograph is usually not required. All the best, Jan
Leipzig Hbf isn't actually that busy in real life, because a lot of traffic uses the S-Bahn station on the lower level. Also, a lot of the traffic that does use the station halls is from layers in the game. KWG for the ICEs, the 218 for the Chemnitz RE, Maintalbahn for diesel regional trains... so once you get your compatible routes and locos installed, it will become a bit busier.
Is there a manual for TSW6? Forums>Hobbies>Train Sim World>FAQs & Guides The Dovetail Support page is currently not accessible. I'm driving the Alp-45dp for the first time and want to learn more about the signaling system. Tomorrow I'll be studying the Netherlands. The Training Center doesn't teach how to read signals.
PC Steam: not possible to enter any BR442 via passenger doors at Leipzig Hbf (only via drivers door) Edit: seems to be a problem in general, no matter which station.
Yeah - don't have the route yet, but this sounds very believable. The sheer size of the station is a bit of a red herring, it's fairly busy, but not Frankfurt-busy. Layers will help though, as you say.
Platform: XBox Series X As a passenger on a Talent 2, unable to get off when the doors open. To replicate, get the 16:00 Talent 2 to Dresden from Leipzig, and then try getting off at the first stop on that particular service, which is Leipzig-Engelsdorf.
Thats weird. Under that logic Frankfurt Main station should be buzzing with NPC as i have most of the layers available for that route, yet its a complete ghost town. And Leipzig HbF isn't that quite either. Sure its not Frankfurt but still quite an important section for travellers from the east german side.
This being a new TSW, there should be no mods installed yet. I seem to remember that the old ones in TSW5 do not copy over on install of the new TSW. None of mine carried over.
Just 'played' the ICE T introduction (PC Steam) via Journey mode: after closing the doors the instruction skips directly to applying power to depart - there is no instruction to release brakes; not a problem for me but would be for any new player. Also, a very minor detail, the stop marker at the end is not far enough along the platform to accommodate the full train length.
I’m disappointed that on the old Dresden–Riesa section, the overhead line hasn’t been adjusted to the standard in TSW 4 and onwards. This makes the overall appearance look misshapen and, in my opinion, rather patchy. And also there are a missing overhead line at Leipzig HBF that goes to a track switch (see screenshot).
We were talking about trains at Leipzig, not passengers at Frankfurt... No idea what "that logic" is supposed to mean either. I've been to Leipzig Hbf several times, including just last week. I'm also on Steam and have all the layers installed. So I'm not making Sherlock Holmes style deductions here or anything.
