Our dedicated technical support team is also available to assist you there. When providing feedback, please always add the following details if possible: Platform (i.e.: PC, PlayStation 4/5, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One) Service/Scenario played when the issue occurred. Repeatability. How often does this issue occur? Images/Videos of the issue occurring. As always, thank you for your feedback. All the best, Jan
Wtf. This is un playable. Need a fix asap DTG Matt PLATFORM: XBOX SERIES X Notable in route scenery (Riviera line) and loco textures
Hey there, We are aware of the black texture issue, this is due to an old build. The new build should be on it's way now. Please make sure to check for updates and download it as soon as it's available. All the best, Jan
Thank you very much for the speedy response. I will keep checking asap. I'm really looking forward to trying this properly.
Guard mode isn’t an option for the voyager, I assume this is part of the timetable issue that’s affecting the Morristown line?
Recieved an update. Still got the same issue. Okay weird it looks fine in the photo hut I still have the same bug
Having done a 1HR service now on the 220, I’ll lay out my thoughts on it. Firstly I had actually disabled the faults, but they still appeared until I turned off the master setting for all random events. Not sure if that’s a core issue or just for the 220. Sounds are abit meh IMO. The idle sounds are really nice other than the looping, they could do with tidying up abit in that regard. In motion is where they really fall down. The running sounds are pretty rough in terms of consistency - there’s just a flat wind/glide noise which is quite overbearing & doesn’t really change after you go over 30ish MPH, it just sounds like you’ve got the air con on. Actual engine noises themselves are very ‘generic’. You can definitely tell they didn’t use Diesel Electric engines but instead hydraulics & they seemed to have struggled with power build up sounds. Once you get upto 70+ you do get some additional running effects of metal clanking etc, which do improve the audio experience, they could have done with working more of those in across all speeds though. The announcements are abit iffy too IMO, they have too much of an echo effect, makes them sound like station announcements rather than onboard & it’s not really done in a way that mirrors the issues with Voyager tannoys. Departing a station also has an odd format, it lists off the next stop, then the operator & destination - ideally it should be the other way around. Not the worst train by far, it’s pretty nice overall but for a £13 model, the sounds could have used some more definition.
Watching the stream earlier, I did think they came across very similar to the 170. As you say, may need some tweaking or a recording session or speak to AP.
aliens in the sky at Newton Abbot. also speedo only shows about half the actual speed and other dials dont move at all. platform : microsoft pc
Platform: Xbox Series X With the lights set to night, at night from the cab view the track in front of you is not lit up at all, it’s like driving in the dark. If you switch to exterior view you can see that the track is lit up suitably.
Achieving a platinum medal is not possible for the first voyager run in Journey mode from Laira Depot to Laira Junction.
I recall the issue that Matt had on the Riviera preview stream, with the engine and door fault. I think that the problem was actually recovering from emergency brake application. He went into EMER while setting up for the engine restart. I inadvertently went into emergency brake, unrelated to any fault, and could not get the train going again. There could be a) lacking instructions on emergency brake recovery in the 220 and/or, b) a game-breaking bug with recovering from emergency brake application
I'm now waiting at Newton Abbot with a 150 service, but there's a 220 entering another platform. That thing is so loud, I can't even hear the platform announcement. Is that realistic? Is the 220 really that loud from the outside?
The overhaul for scoring 2.0 was meant to fix this but it hasn't. Unobtainable golds/platinums are still everywhere unfortunately. Users went to the trouble of creating a gigantic thread of all the services and scenarios for DTG to fix it and they never so much as touched it unfortunately. Hours and hours went into that thread. Which is frustrating considering that all journey chapters have a "complete to gold" function. Even the new content comes out with these scoring issues.
My first thoughts: - I think it was a good choice of DLC, I would like to see more diesel trains - I think the model is good - I like the details such as the TMS screen, functional Door Interlock switch, etc - Overall I think it is good Suggestions: - Some more interaction on the TMS screen would be nice, such as controllable interior lighting - Some interaction with exterior controls, such as the battery isolation switch, local engine start and stop, etc - Controllable PIS like on the SNG from Zwolle - Groningen - More accurate guard procedure - If there is an opportunity to get proper sounds in the future, that would be good Bugs (I'm on PC Steam) - Individual coaches are missing from formation designer - You can't get out of the right side cab door
Yeah I had the exact same issue, triggered by use of the emergency break. Absolutely nothing got the train going again. As I’ve commented elsewhere, I seldom have to use the ‘reset physics’ option but it just doesn’t seem to work - so 2 things to be fixed here.
I had an emergency brake application and couldn’t get the train out of the 2-bar brake pressure. Just like what happened in the stream, the train was completely immobile in the cab I was in. The rear cab worked fine. I shut down my cab and activated the rear one, and that worked without any issues. Seems like a bug to me.
The voyager seams to be very slow at acceleration from start it should be a bit quicker that's experience from being a passenger on one in real life I don't know if I'm right at all please someone correct me if I'm wrong
My first two issues i encountered with the Voyager: Same as the Arrow it seems to have an excessive amount of stuck doors. Something I had no problems with on the 802 and the 150. During the training module I had 2 stuck doors (one for each time the doors were operated. Then on a shorter timetable run I had three which isn't as much as the Arrow but still seems excessive. But the main issue is that after an application of the emergency brakes (safety systems were off due to the known issue with DSD triggered brakes) I was unable to release the brakes and get moving again. Tried all the normal ways, a complete shutdown and of the train and even saving/reloading and resetting simulation physics from the menu. No luck! The train was completely stuck with the brake cylinders reacting to the brake lever but never dropping below 2 bars of pressure. Platform: PC (Steam) Service: 1M61 Paignton to Manchester Piccadilly (Class 220) Repeatability: Tried again in free roam. Applying emergency brake on the voyager leads to the brake cylinder getting stuck at min 2 bar pressure.
Just done exeter to Paignton accidentally applied emergency brakes. Now cannot get the train to move tried everything will not move . One stop from last station and had to abandon job so annoying. Hope they sort this out quickly.
The cab seems way too bright for the time of day, I’ve got the cab light switched off and as got can see it’s nearly darkness out there, but the cab is still too bright
I spawned in the journey mode for 1S41 Plymouth to Edinburgh and noticed two of the cars smashed together
So far, it sounds good! The door procedure for open and close with correct buzzer codes would be lovely. 1-2 to close, driver repeats back 1-2 and closes the doors, gaurd steps in and closes local, then gives 2, driver checks signal, gives 2 and takes power. The cab however is also way too bright, it looks like there are no shadows at all. Driving now at dusk, it looks like there is a cab light on. Sensativity of the CPBC needs some tweaking, it's like your stiring treacle with a spoon.
+ 1. I changed ends too and I could suddenly drive again. But I noticed that the acceleration / deceleration was the wrong way round.
