With the DB BR 101 my favourite it was a very pleasant surprise to still see a couple in real-life - almost three years since last time for me. I was at 'Terug naar Toen' Steamtrainfestival in Beekbergen and Loenen today. The Veluwsche Stoomtrein Maatschappij celebrated there 50 year anniversary with a very special thing... 10 (!) engines...people...crazy!

I recently took my first trip to Scotland and had the chance to spend a day in Aviemore to visit the Strathspey Railway. The train was hauled by Black 5 No. 5025, which is apparently the oldest surviving LMS Class 5. I've got to admit, it’s great to see some of the locos you only know from TSW in action, especially when they’re foreign ones!

Well, I was supposed to go out to Boonton, NJ yesterday for their Railroad Museum for a Day, but didn't realize the Morristown Line was shut until I got down to Penn Station. I'm not sure what you all are doing on the virtual route, but it's screwing with the real one! lol Wife and I ended up just gallivanting around Manhattan for a bit, and I did grab a couple of photos from my travels.

Metro-North had their Open House in New Haven this year, so my wife and I took a ride down the Hudson Line and across the NEC. Weather was beautiful again, just like last weekend, only this time I actually have photos for you all, haha.

It was an extremely reasonable response to the UK OSA that frankly every site based outside of the country should have taken to protect their users, as Discord users are finding out right now with the leak of people's IDs...
I really need to read up on everything going on over there with the OSA. To be honest I really stopped paying attention to the news since our past election for my own mental health, and only really skim my Google News feed quickly each morning. The OSA really hasn't gotten much coverage over here, but we've got a ton of our own drama and nonsense. And people wonder why Millenials get so nostalgic... lol I looked quickly for an Imgur alternative today, but I didn't find anything I liked or trusted. I think I may just see if I can use the IMG code with my Google Photos, since the pics are hosted there anyways.
