Not sure where else to put this so I've put the thread here. I've got two things I think would be great.

    1. Migrate your DLC from one platform to another

I'm not suggesting you should freely be able to do this. But, I started TSW back in 2018 when it first launched on console. Back then, I was 14/15 and PlayStation was the only way I'd be able to play the game. Now I'm 22, have a job and have been able to afford a decent PC and would like to be able to take advantage of all the extra stuff you get on PC like the editor and more than the 20 max AI limit on Creators Club. However, I'm put off from making the jump because I have 7 years worth of DLC which probably amounts to a few grand in DLC. I'm not saying I should just be able to port it over, but I think allowing a one-time migration for a fee of even £50 would be nice. All the stuff with epic games not having certain DLC just makes you realise how much of this game is an investment and how it can be taken away due to limits. If it can happen to epic, it can happen to consoles. I've invested a lot of years and a lot of money into the game, I don't want to lose all of that just because I couldn't afford a 4 figure PC back in the day. It just sucks to be stuck in a console for life now essentially.

    Scenario Planner

I understand there are limits to what can be done on console, but I think we can have a vast improvement on what we currently have. For starters, being able to select an exact minute for train starting times rather than a block of 5 would be a decent fix. Being able to fully timetable your stops would also be a good feature and would add more variety to the types of scenarios that are made.

Pathing is a major issue. I understand the console limitations but it's very frustrating not only that you can only do the set paths but also that how good the paths are varies so much. Cardiff City Network is the gold standard, I really appreciate actually being able to pick the platforms at the Cardiff Stations. It's weird you can't go to Coryton (but you can go from Coryton) but that's another issue. Portals is another issue. Not all DLC from AFTER portals were announced have portals. It isn't a big ask. Pathing generally could be better, and a system like we have in free roam could work for creators club. I'm sure that could be added, but I understand if not. Better paths in general would be good though. As a scenario creator, it feels like a lottery every time I buy a DLC.

Creators Club could be more friendly and have a like/dislike system or display cumulative rather than current subscribers but I'll stop there. Let me know what everyone thinks.

Yeah, the first one definitely won't happen.

This can never happen. Consoles and pc have different hardware, software and coding requirements. There is not a single game where this is possible. Steam does not give free access to epic and vice versa. Xbox does not give free access to playstation and vice versa. They are all competitors trying to run a business. They would not allow it to happen at all. But even then, as explained above, it is not possible to play a console game on a pc.

I was hoping they would upgrade the scenario planner to at least allow for trains to be held on the slow line for faster ones to past. This would have been more beneficial than the engine stalling every 10 minutes :|

I mean it could definitely happen lmao you'd tie the collection to the dovetail live account and then you'd pay for a one time only migration (meaning you wouldnt be allowed to transfer back)- give a key to all the dlc you own on steam and then lock the dlc on console so you no longer have the console dlc but you have it on PC.

It won't happen for business reasons, fair enough, but it would be possible I'd imagine.

Scenario Planner needs a massive overhaul for sure. Even on console, I think it could handle more than 20 AI since timetable mode has so much more AI than that and there is so much to be done about pathing and perhaps even scripted events.
