Hey everyone! Sorry put this as a new thread.. So if I set the mode to "simple mode' which to be honest is my preferred preference, when I load up the HST, part of the driver controls is missing as i always use the keyboard. The driver controls do appear in Expert mode, but as mentioned before, I only use Simple Mode (my own preference) Please see below screenshot where I placed the white circle and as you can see, part of the driver controls are missing. These do reappear when in Expert mode, but as I mentioned earlier, I prefer to use Simple Mode controls These only happen with AP (Armstrong Powerhouse) consists and never with Steam or Just Trains Is there a way to get the controls back? Any ideas or help would be greatful
Armstrong Powerhouse don’t generally support simple driving modes or games controllers which I’ve seen in some of their descriptions and manuals. Armstrong Powerhouse is exclusively about enhancing realism for railway enthusiasts looking for the most authentic experience possible. I think the best simpler HST available on Steam is the DTG Remastered one in LNER livery: https://store.steampowered.com/app/...ss_43_High_Speed_Train_Remastered_Loco_AddOn/ This wouldn’t be correct for the route in your screenshot though. I think you are out of options unfortunately.
(Sorry was in quick drive mode as using the South Wales route) Yeah wanted to use the Virgin First Generation HST (i know not available on steam anymore and gutted to be honest lol) so aquired the HST Valenta versions from AP which some are non branded but applied the patch which was provided by Alan Simulation which placed the branding back on. Yeah bought that LNER add on a few days ago, but not the same as the original First Gen Virgin HST which is my 2nd favourite livery behind the BR one. Thanks mate for replying and many thanks for your help. Cheers
FYI I keep a listing of almost everything TSC on my site. Here is my page for Class 43: https://sites.google.com/view/trainsimulatorcontent/uk-trains/class-43 If you page through the presentation you will find a summary of instructions - I have this for all trains
