I've read somewhere that High Iron Simulations are creating a new US freight route. I dont think it was announced on ticket to ride earlier this year but I am sure it was mentioned somewhere. Does anyone know where or have any idea which freight route it is? Im not a massive US freight fan, however, given there's been no new US freight since Cajon Pass, im hopeful the route is not hearsay
AFAIK, the only announced DLC from High Iron Simulations is the Santa Fe Gameplay Pack. It is not a new route. It is a gameplay pack for Cajon Pass.
High iron simulations have in fact stated they are working on a route in the roadmap, I forget whether it was September or August but it was one of them and not in take a ticket. They haven’t announced where or when but they’ve stated they’re working on one. Which is likely why it wasn’t in the take a ticket. Considering the time it’s taken them to do the Santa Fe pack, if this route has only begun development recently I wouldn’t get any hopes up for a release with this years game cycle.
I remember seeing something about it as well, hopefully their route is still in the works being as there is nothing new for US freight other than the Sante Fe pack.
HIS has been historically a "freight centric" developer, so it'll most likely be a freight route. However, I'm still cautious on their development for both the gameplay pack and the route given past experiences with HIS on TSC.
Good to know (never really went to that side of train sim classic) honestly I think most of us just want freight to the point where we would take slightly lower standards, hell it’s just like the steam train community we just want another at this rate
