    Hi All,

My view on whatever to call this rushed, unfinished game.

Train Sim World 6 is definitely rushed, not finished, it has so many bugs/glitches, I'll list a few bugs and other general issues:
    1. Conductor Mode, after unlocking the local door, that opens but when I release all doors none of them open so no passengers can board or deboard the train. But when I go into drivers side of it, the doors open up straight away no problems.
    2. Found some random tree's in the middle of the railway
    3. Loading the Morristown route hangs every time so I've not been able to try it.
    4. Random errors/events seem to happen every 5 mins, should be longer then that, it gets annoying
    5. Game stutters badly even on 4070 TI, even after repeated runs.
    6. The home screen hasn't changed at all nothing really new about it.
    7. Overpriced games and DLC's
    8. There is many more I can list but I'll be here forever listing all of them.
They've definitely taken a huge leaf out of Activision's book for yearly release of the same game/DLC's but ONLY changing the name each time.

They definitely aren't listening to the community, they can easily make all new features, DLC etc all in the existing game, no need to release a new game that's totally BROKEN and full of bugs from all other TSW's games.

All this is a quick and simple money grab from everyone, that's all they care about nothing else.

You just pay for new features and having access to play new routes that won’t be available in previous TSW games, that’s it.
    Same game, different number.

    1. Straight forward to patch
    2. Straight forward to patch
    3. Straight forward to patch
    4. Straight forward to patch
    5. I’ve not experienced this (running PS5)
    6. Irrelevant
    7. There are multiple versions to choose from. I wouldn’t say it’s overly expensive compared to the rest of the gaming market.

Once again for the moaners, who are quite good at imagining things and then getting angry at what they imagined.

    TSW6 is free.

    Popular old routes get remastered.

You dont have to re-buy any previous DLC .

There is a huge range of DLC with many not specifically tailored to just your own wants.

There is a huge range of DLC, just like a supermarket has a huge range of choice too, none of which is compulsory.

DTG gives you the ability to edit the game engine to your own preferences (infinite draw distances, no pop-ins etc).

    DX12 reduces most stuttering.

A large part of each road map confirms the game optimisation they are working on and regularly introduce with patches.

There is a sale approx every six weeks with some at 90% discounted.

There is also the modding community too, who bring a huge depth and range to routes and rolling stock.

None of the above is secret. Its open knowledge.

This is just the beginning patches are coming. Yes there will be some flip flop here and there. But once again this nothing out of the ordinary. Patch patch patch is the new theme for dtg which is ok finally has some light at the end of the tunnel. Bugs are bound to happen put some bug spray on it. And yet they return

Can't wait for you to pay full whack for next year's game and complain about it 3 days after release!

I just have to comment on this because I see it all the time. I'm not going to address your other points, but whenever someone says something like this bit here, it shows how little they actually know. As if your entire gaming experience comes down to the GPU (especially with complex simulator games like this). Yeah, never mind about the CPU, RAM, storage media (HDD, SSD, NVMe, etc.).

Simply hilarious. Ok then, carry on.

I'm running the game at 1080p with a Ryzen 3900X, a 2070 Super, and 32GB of RAM (at 3200 Mhz). Game is running on an NVMe drive. I get some hitches but after a run or two I don't get hangs or stutters. Also a lot smoother with the -DX12 startup option on Steam. FPS averages anywhere from 55-65 on average with most things on High.

Jimminy Cricket, can you believe all the bug in Early Access. You would think there would be a patch on day 1.

Oh wait official release isn't until the 30th when a patch will come out.

Maybe people should hold back thier reviews until the official product comes out, instead of reviewing an early access not final version.

This is just a bad argument, early access so few days out is just a sales gimmick, that isn't anything close to a remotely valid reason to invalidate criticism. There's been games that have had beta periods months out that didn't manage to fix all their issues, there isn't any reason to think any of this can be fixed in a week. I would also note that many game journalist websites are often given early access to games way further out. And by your logic the majority of reviews from major gaming websites going back 20 to 30 years ago are bunk for the same reason.

I don't even necessarily care for OP's post, but if you're going to criticize it I think the guy right before you did better.

PS: Though saying that calling the guy "Simply hilarious" is a unnecessary low blow. If the shoe were on the other foot and someone called a overly thread that we'd get the forum police calling it offensive. That said completely agree with the rest of it, GPU on it's own isn't all that helpful, more specs are needed.

It seems like te trees are on an off route part of the line, so that a bit unfair. There also very few assets in your screenshots. I'm very surprised I find tsw6 better then earlier versions. Performance is also improved!

I think the worst thing DTG do is market the annual release as a new game, when all the longtime players & devs themselves know that isn’t the case.

Thats how we get things like this OP popping up, because the rather deceitful marketing works.

I’m not saying that moving away from ‘new’ titles would validate DTGs rather hesitant position on fixing long standing issues, but their current method is only going to validate the above views, at least to a certain extent.
