PC: Steam The same issue is occurring on PC. Passengers cannot exit or enter via the BR442 passenger doors. This problem occurs regardless of location or train.
PC (Steam) Service: ICE 1555 Frankfurt to Desden Approximate in-game time 1105 Timetable mode DB BR 411 Service was going fine until just after Riesa. Basically, every signal east of the junction that comes off Roderau is red. A look at the map shows the whole line is stopped east of Riesa. Been waiting for over 20 minutes and tried the "contact signaler" command. Not sure if this is a problem with the random events or the BR 101 timetable lock-up thats been mentioned on another thread.
Hi, I like this route very much. But what surprised me is signalling when entering Liepzig. My speed was 150 when I saw presignal with 80. I started braking fully, but next signal was too close and I did not make it.
The BR101 doesn't seem to have anything to do with it. I play on Series X and don't have access to the BR101 yet, but I still have the same problem.
Not sure if this is intentional or not, but there are several issues with conductor mode on the BR 442: There is no option to signal the driver to depart, the driver just closes the doors and drives off without waiting You can't enter or leave the train through the passenger doors, there seems to be an invisible wall blocking them even when the train is stopped There are usually very few tickets to check, and sometimes none at all Other stuff: I think it would be nice to get conductor mode on the ICE-T, even if there aren't many stops I think ICE Werk Leipzig This turntable at Leipzig-Engelsdorf is bugged, there is track clipping through it
PS4 Can only choose between the 442 and the 294 in timetable mode. Route is empty. What a disappointment.
It would also be really nice to have some updated 766.2 running sounds. They are really quite at high speed. Of course I wouldn’t expect any traction motors but right now it doesn’t feel and hear like you are running 160 km/h.
The one thing I hate about Dosto 766 driving. They really ought to use the sounds from the N stock cab car or the US ones for a more tactile experience.
Opposite direction, same story. Train stuck just after Nunchritz. Stuck freight train is GAG(41345) I am driving ICE 1555 Platform: Steam
PS5 While driving a DB 143 service, I noticed that the volume of the announcements in the cabin is much louder than, for example, on the ICE-T. Does anyone else experience this?
I think they are louder in the BR 143 because this Locomotive is generally louder than all the others on this Route.
I don't think the Dresden-Leipzig route deserves to be called a new route. The route from Dresden to Riesa has not been touched at all. Everything has been left as it was before, so one would have expected the old section of the route to have been revised as well. Even the errors from the old route have been carried over 1:1 to the new route. Sorry DTG, but I think that's just lazy work. And please, where have you hidden all the train traffic? I play on PC and Steam.
Did a Conductor mode in the BR442, which apparently has doors that require no action from the Conductor. And apparently this particular service also had no tickets to validate either. So I spent 24 minutes just sitting in a chair doing nothing at all.
Conductor mode - RE18 18404 Dresden to Cottbus. Passed 3 stops have not checked one ticket yet train is a talent 2 Edit: Rejected valid tickets is appearing on the same train for stations not listed under today’s journey. Except for Cottbus where train is going but is off map.
Hi folks! Found this little white cube up in the air at the railyard Leipzig Engelsdorf. Besides this, I think the building in the background, connected by tracks, looks oddly bright compared to other assets around it. Greetings Marcel
dunno if this is correct LZB behavior, but usually once you get onto the wire and see LZB, the system picks up... on this route, on both ends, it takes a good like 600 - 800 m (cant say exactly how much) for the LZB to turn on and then, no idea if this is a bug or my bad driving, but when doing a BR 442 service from Dresden to Coswig, upon taking off from Friedrichstadt, I upped the power as usual, maybe a bit more, and shortly after the station, going like 30 kph or so, I got "Service failure: Vehicle derailed"... restarted the service, and now it didnt occur, and just for the hell of it, I tried powering out of stations even harder... any idea what caused this? in some other thread I have read that it could have been cos the game detected one of the bogies losing contact with the track... but no idea, this happened to me for the first time
also sth I noticed - with single 442, usually like 15-20% throttle is enough to release the brakes and get moving, with 2x sometimes I have to go to like 30-40% before it starts moving slowly and then it takes a second to release the brakes... dunno if this was intended or not, maybe it is more realistic? ... I am just wondering cos before I could release the brakes and get moving without screeching, here I cant do it for some reason
RB31 (18330) service from Dresden at 1706 gives a SPAD as soon as you spawn. In both the 442 and Dostos. Xbox Series X.
I’m sure this has been reported but voicing incase it hasn’t. In the LZB section, the 101 doesn’t give full potential score with all safety systems on.
Some more bugs with the BR 442: - The FIS is broken, the up and down arrows on the FIS screen no longer work. Even if you couple a version with a working FIS like the DRA version and set it on that, it doesn't update the FIS on the Dresden Leipzig version - The instrument lights dimmer no longer works
Exactly like in the preview stream. Great that this hasn't been addressed. Hearing from route blockages in Dresden from other players. Obviously this route hasn't seen any testing (apart from the early access beta testers of course)
I’m honestly at the end of my rope with this route. I’ve run it about ten times now and every single one has ended the same way, everything completely gridlocked at either Dresden or Leipzig. It’s always some IC stuck at a green signal and the whole timetable completely collapses around it. Earlier today I spent over an hour and a half on RE 16510 from Dresden to Leipzig in the Talent 2. I’d racked up more than 25,000 AP, made stop after stop, and thought I was finally going to have a clean run. Then as I got close to Leipzig, I spotted a yellow aspect ahead. I was doing 160 km/h, slammed into max brake, acknowledged PZB, and barely ten seconds later I was staring at a red signal right in front of me. There was no chance to stop in time. The emergency brakes applied, and I still ended up with a SPAD... I quickly saved so I could load back in and open the map and see what it was, and sure enough, everything was stuck at Leipzig. All that time and effort completely wasted. The fact this route was released in this condition is just unacceptable. I want to like it so badly, but right now I can’t even bring myself to load it up again until it’s patched. Considering the price they're asking at launch and with no new stock (minus the deluxe), it’s truly is nothing short of disappointing. The best advice I can give, for now, is to just disable the IC layer for the time being. If there is no patch today, I'll be here with a bucket of popcorn watching all the console reports come in when they get their layers.
Add one more complaint about the 101. I took a morning service Leipzig-Dresden direction, the 8:xx one, which was a nice but weird run until its sad demise. From the start my train is stuck behind a freight train going 100 on the 200 km/h section, yet its never looped and ends up making the IC service stop at a red before Riesa still on the LZB section. Not sure if its prototypical for this section or not, lets take that as is. Arrival in Riesa is approx 3 minutes late due to waiting at the red and getting up to speed again. Followed by an uneventful run from Riesa to Dresden Neustadt. This is where it all goes wrong. When arriving into Neustadt I noticed some parallel running with a Talent 2, doing some kind of RB service. It ends up leaving sooner than the IC. Upon leaving the IC has priority, with the RB held at a red. A nice detail I thought. Then when arriving the last signal before the platform in HBf. the signal is red for the IC. Platform is empty and the player train is approximately on time. Dispatcher gives no path into the station on request. I looked into options that could block, like a freight service about to start, there is none, services to cross the track, there was none. I even deleted all trains in the HBf. and the signal would still not clear. I all ended by having to quit 300m from the end. A pretty disappointing experience, certainly this route got the worst of this years release, even though the german content used to be solid.
PS5 I tried one of the first add-ons... namely the RP Vectron and BR101, EC259 Leipzig - Prague, driven by the Vectron RP, unfortunately the train's interior lighting and taillights don't work, or I can't turn them on. Given the fact that it's an early morning train, it will be uncomfortable.
PC Steam: AI trains with BR 143 on tail traveling with PIS and interior lightning off. This problem affecting 143 on Frankfurt S-Bahn and 114 on FTF
PS5 AI trains EC/IC (IC coach Add-on BR101) have the interior lights off, I was watching the traffic in Dresden, I picked a few random trains and all the lights were off. The only case I found was in Leipzig, the last train from Leipzig, I think around 21:20, it had the interior lights on ...... really strange
This is actually much more to real life then what we had before. You can only be taken into LZB once your whole train has passed the entry point.
Is this what you call a route update? Are you suggesting I buy this route a third time? The first time was for TSW 2, the second time was for TSW 4 Deluxe Edition, and the third time is now. Are you nuts?
Technically its a new route because it goes to leipizg where as before only went to risa so its 40 miles longer.
They have fixed the wiper on AI trains! They not in the middle of the window anymore. Well done DTG! **This is an AI train not a Player service**
No thanks, I don't want to buy this route for the third time because technically it's the old "new" route that has been expanded.
I can't remember which signal gave the 1000 Hz, but I know it was after Leipzig-Engelsdorf for sure! The signal showing danger was 52G. It's important to note that I didn't start this service from the timetable screen. I first drove IC 2449 from Leipzig to Dresden, and then, after waiting in Dresden, I took the Talent 2 service back to Leipzig.
There's developer clearance plate templates at this bridge, near Leipzig Pausndorf. They pop into view once you get close (the one side is actually close enough to the active tracks that you can see it during regular gameplay)
I must say, I actually enjoy the route so far, even though it is definitely the least exciting of the trio, and at parts it does show its TSW2 vintage. But I like to drive some long-distance trains (ICEs/ICs), which have some intermediate stops, and this is a route which gives me such an opportunity, even if the new section is not that exciting. I have noticed some issues over the early access week though (PC/Steam): As the fellow Players have reported, passenger doors on Talent 2 can't be passed, platform or no platform. Additionally, if you happen to deactivate the step, you cannot reactivate it anymore. Also, as reported, I noticed the no-lights EC trains issue, however I am sure I had already seen it on a different route in TSW5 quite recently (I was also unable to start the lights on an IC train with Vectron, I think it was on one of the Frankfurt routes). Minimaps when selecting scenarios are messed up with respect to the routing between Dresden and Coswig, nearly everything being shown as going via the southern route, even though many trains actually go via Neustadt-Radebeul, see this as an example: One more thing which I think might not be correct, was signalling when playing a BR 294 scenario EZK (53387), not sure if it's more of a timetable/addon problem or a route/signalling problem, so I report it in both places, I hope you do not mind. After I ran around my train in Weißig, when I was about to depart for the main line from the siding, I got only a shunting signal for that. I might be wrong, but I think it is not correct, I would only be allowed to shunt near the station. Moreover, entire ride to Riesa was conducted on Erzsatzsignale, which forced me to slow down to 25 km/h at every signal due to active 500 Hz magnets (U-mode PZB). Perhaps that's intentional, but quite annoying, as the train is perfectly capable of going at 80 km/h. At Dresden Hbf (perhaps not only, but that's where it's very noticeable) trains terminating there are annouced together with their departure time, which sounds somewhat stupid. It would be better if it said something like "train terminates here" instead. Finally, I got stopped at a PZB speed trap when running an RE between Dresden and Coswig, at the turnout close to Coswig, where the Haputsignal shows 100, whereas an earlier Vorsignal shows 130. I remembered this behaviour from the old Dresden-Riesa route, although only after i got my Zwangsbremsung.
Journey mode seems to be using an older version of the talent 2 w/o suspension & no audible sifa/alerters…
interesting, so I guess this simulates that it takes a while for the train system to pick up the signal then fair enough also, on other note, seems like 442 has been nerfed - it takes more effort to release the brakes when taking off from a station, particularly if you are on a 2x consist, it takes almost like 30% throttle and a little screech from brakes to get going... rolling resistance has been slightly improved, but some slight descents still slow train down... and the acceleration is slower than on previous iterations, so I guess it has been made more real? and about that derailment, I guess it was some sort of engine/physics bug, since I have done multiple 442 runs on the same routing and also RE50, got going even harder (with more throttle), and havent encountered it since
yep, it was one of my first runs on the route cos I love the OG 101 (Expert 101 is of course better and much more realistic, but thats another topic, hopefully they do an Expert timeline with fully expert consist), and yeah... and since the LZB section is quite long, it is impossible to get platinum medal cos you get only half pts good thing about TSW6 tho is that the safety systems / driving assist finally works for me and displays actually helpful messages this time
it doesnt work without a wire... And a RB31 From Dresden Altstadt also drives on a track that has no Wire.. This is S1 31030 in Dresden
