Hi, does anyone know what happens if you do not like TSW6 and decide to stick with TSW5 for the time being. I couldn't see anything about it in the 'FAQ' and 'All You Need to know' stuff on TSW6. I'm downloading the Starter version of 6, but I started to wonder if it will mess anything with older versions. My only real concern is that it might mess my profile up. Has anyone gone back to an older version and had any issue doing so?
It is mostly separate, you can just play TSW5, but: You may end up with two profiels with different update status You will miss all technical improvements to TSW6 and you will not be able to play new routes. Otherwise you are fine, though I do not see a lot of good reasons for sticking to TSW5
Two profiles, yeah, I was thinking something like that could happen. I've had problems running 5, micro stutters, FPS drops and such. If the performance of 6 is no better, then I won't buy it. For me, TSW5 didn't improve in it's life cycle so I don't expect 6 to either. I'll halt the download and watch the forums for a few weeks and see how other people get on with it. Maybe I'll commit if people are happy it's performance is good compared to 5. I've hardly played TSW5 in the last few months, so I'm not missing out on anything. Cheers for the reply
The performance is approximately the same. Just install the starter pack to get the bugfixes. You will be fine.
