Are there plans to add the Arrow III and ALP-45DP to NY-Trenton?

Also - why are the Arrows only to/from Hoboken? Do they run to NYP at all IRL?

PS - DTG knocked it OUTTA THE PARK with these trains and the Morristown route. EXCEPTIONAL work. Cannot wait for MNR New Haven. Great things to come - thank you, Team DTG!!

No plans for Arrow or ALP45 on NYT
Arrow operate on Morristown line and Hoboken (25KV) and Also on the NEC to Penn station which is 12KV. The reason is the Arrow is can only operate one at at time and can't change on the fly.In the game is just a switch on behind the CB panel. IRL like is more much more complicated and has to be done at the MX shop facility.

Also remember that the nec trenton route is basically at capacity. Adding more trains will cause more performance issues and possibly a bunch of craahing

I’ve ran the arrows on NYT about 15 times now . They run great, especially in long consists. Only thing, internally, NYT is set to 25Kv when the route is 12Kv (as implemented in the Morristown route). You’ll have to use them with the switch in the “25Kv” position on NYT.

There is a button in the fuse cabinet to switch to 12.5/11kV that makes it work on NEC.

Pretty sure someone hinted at adding them to NYT during the preview stream.

I think the hint was that the Morristown Multilevels with the train announcements work on NEC and will announce all the NEC stops.

Using the 12K switch on NYT will result in some strange physics. (Wheel slip/ unrealistic power/ acceleration. Similar thing when braking. Wheel slip etc).

NY Trenton is incorrectly set up as 25 Kv

The overpower is the main thing I noticed. However I use it because it with 25kV, it barely gets any power at all and takes a really long time to get to a decent speed.

On 12kV you are at 80mph very quickly and feels like you are taking off in a plane.

The train is always setup for 25kV by default since it’s technically only for the Morristown line. The overhead on NEC is correctly 12kV, so that’s why you need to use the switch as its not the Arrow III setup for 12kV by default.

Right, but if you use it on Trenton, don't change it to 12Kv

I noticed that after the patch on the 30th I can normally use the arrow III on the ny-trenton in 25kV mode (I remember that before the 30th patch it wasn't possible, the arrow simply didn't move and I had to change the voltage to 12kV using the switch behind the driver's seat)

It’s a “glitch”. It was the same way on the 25th. Nothing changed in that regards as NYT is still set (internally) to 25Kv.

Yeah I noticed that today when I did an NYT route using the ALP46. I guess I always assumed it was 12kV by default but saw that it was incorrectly at 25kV. The Morristown line version of the NEC route is correctly 12kV though.
