    An interesting route with a beautifull scenery (PC-steam)

    Now for the trains

    class 150 :
    1)The new sounds and physics seem very well done but:
    engine cab sounds should be louder (they are too quiet even with the windows opened).
    on the other hand, brake sound is too loud.

    2)since the engines underneath are well modelled , along with the cardan shafts, the shafts should be animated. they were animated in the class 101 , i don't understand since they are well modelled , why they are standing motionless

    class 802 :

    1) good sounds , but too loud rolling sounds as you' re picking up speed
    2) no engine smoke
    3) also the engine shut down button does not work

    Noticed it for the first time today too. Then about a mile further up the track it was back again, so it definitely wasn't just a case of the tide going out - no tide would have gone as far out as that anyway.

    Not a game breaker by any means but something that they should definitely fix.

    Is anyone else still getting crackling noises every few seconds when playing on PS5? I thought this had been dealt with in a patch but playing a scenario this evening it was pretty annoying. My audio is fed through my surround system and the popping/crackling noises spoil the game for me. Definitely will not be purchasing any more DLC for TSW6 until they get the bug ridden mess sorted out instead of workarounds .

    Still absolutely loving this route, no game breaking issues so far. Best TSW route?! Absolutely.

    In terms of immersion breaking can the 60 mph speed limit on the approach to Dawlish Warren on the up main be changed to its proper 70 mph speed? I know we’ve had issues in the past with this and then being set in stone but out of everything this is the biggest immersion breaker for me right now.

    Don't know if this has been noted yet, at Paignton there is an invisible barrier on the siding near the road.

    Spawned on foot and tried to get on the 8F that was stabled there but the invisible barrier prevented me from going past the door.

    That makes any service in that siding impossible if starting on foot or choosing return to free roam.

    Do the train struggle irl to get up that hill between Plymouth and Ivybridge. Cause the 150 and 802 crawly up. But the Voyager gets up it no problems.

    also, if you do 2x Voyager consist, which is 8 cars, so almost as long as the longest 802, that 2x Voyager can get up those super steep inclines on notch 4 no problem... 150 can climb nicely also, but I guess mainly cos it operates in lower speed ranges

    There are a couple of static Class 08 layers that say they require GWE but the Class 08 is not included in the GWE DLC.
    My guess is the layer actually requires a different DLC, most likely JT's Preston - Carlisle, but it is showing the wrong requirement in the layers window.

    I have no way of really knowing what it is since I do not own whatever it is, but I'm sure DTG can take a look, find out what it is, and fix it.

    I'm not sure why this layer is claiming to need Great Western Express for you, because indeed GWE doesn't feature a Class 08 and Diesel Legends has its own identifier which is GWB_BR_Class52. These layers actually require Preston - Carlisle.

    I agree with your feedback regarding the 150. When the TFW route came out, it was said that the Cardan shaft would be animated on both the 150/2 and 153 however, it is only animated on the 153.

    they can easily get it done on the 150/2 as the engine bay is very well modeled, don’t see why they haven’t yet.

    cab sounds as well, I agree with. You should be able to hear the engine more in the cabs and especially with windows open, they can be quite loud in real life!

    I remember that on the preview stream. They moved the camera to look at the staft, there it was, static.

    At 17:45 spawing on foot at Exeter St. Davids there was a class 166 on Platform 1 on an AI train for Axminster. This should be a class 150 as 166s aren't cleared to run to Axminster.

    Yep, I remember that too.

    it’s a nice touch that they did well with the 101 and then the 153, I hope they do it with the 150 because you can definitely see the shaft spinning in real life!

    I was crouched next to one the other night matter of fact. 150143 came into my station sidings and the alternator sounded faulty so I got a nice close up video of the shaft spinning hehe.
