I was driving the RB51 on Frankfurt Fulda from Wächtersbach to Frankfurt (Main)HBF, I thought there were only announcement on the new TSW6 routs so I was driving and everything was normal. After I was close to the end station from Frankfurt Süd to Frankfurt HbF the passengers announcement was coming up and says “ next stop Frankfurt am Main HBF” I was totally confused because there was no announcement the whole time and I thought the announcement only worked at the new routs. Also the announcement came up close for the finally destination. Awesome if it will work with every rout in tsw. Can anybody reply or tell me are the announcement in every route ? The service I was driving was 15523
Which loco was it? If you drove the Dresden-Leipzig version of the loco it might work on older routes. I know this was mentioned for the Morristown version of the ALP-46 if you drive it on New York-Trenton. So it might also work with some German locos that are on Dresden-Leipzig too.
Yes I was driving the 146.2 from Dresden -Leipzig on the Frankfurt Fulda route. I was thinking that as well but I asked myself why it worked only at the last station and not on the others. But I’m right that DTG didn’t announced that passengers announcement will work on TSW5 routs ?
Yeah it's probably not been tested properly on older routes even if the functionality is technically there if you are using a new version loco. Only one they confirmed was the Morristown ALP-46 on NYT.
Probably because the Dresden-Leipzing 146 includes a soundfile for Frankfurt, bot not any other F-F stations.
