Guess what. Almost all the 3rd parties have experience working on uk routes, so obviously they will make uk routes. Dtg themselves don't actually make that much uk routes. They create about an equal mix of uk, german and us routes along with the new countries here and there. Not every single developer make every single country. They focus on a specific region if that is where there expertise is More countries can't come unless more 3rd parties get added
DTG, and most, but not all 3rd Party Devs are based in the UK. For example, Skyhook and Rivet are based in Liverpool and Stirling (I believe) respectively. So of course they will mainly do UK routes / packs.
There would be uproar if there were no new UK routes even for a year. It's DTGs home market, it's clearly making money for them, why should they stop? The TSC network covers much of the UK now, I expect that'll be the case with TSW in 10 years. I appreciate it must be frustrating for people living in countries that have no coverage in TSW but there are probably good commercial and/or logistical reasons. Obviously most of us would be delighted if, for example, a Swedish developer entered the game, but that's what's needed for coverage in more countries, local developers. If you can see a gap in the market, why not start developing routes?
It's definitely easier for them to do UK routes. I'd love to see a Polish route in this since I've riden on the PKP Intercity and the Malopolskie. I would also love more French routes since I'll be taking French trains next year. I am looking forward to the Czech and Portuguese routes. I'd love to see more American routes like Brightline and SEPTA but getting and retaining licenses might be difficult. I'm glad MBTA gets good representation.
Well in various stages of development, we have a Japanese, Portuguese and Czech route so (eventually) that will offer some variety. DTG also poured considerable resources this year into making or at least facilitating a Dutch route. And to the OP, as this is the Suggestions forum then state clearly a specific route you have in mind and make a case for how it would meet the TSW LAMPOIL criteria when DTG or their associates consider new routes to add.
Woah woah woah you must mean England and not the whole of Britain because we need more Scottish, whales and Northern Ireland routes (still waiting for the first for Northern Ireland)
At the risk of sounding like a broken record.....not all of England either. Those living near the M1 and M6 motorways seem to be elbow-deep in local TSW routes.
Last time I checked England is still England, don’t care which part is or isn’t in game already just want another route from the other three
Ouch. I guess you have to live in England to understand the complex local, regional and geographical rivalries that exist. And you'd certainly have to have worked for British Rail to understand the competitive rivalries between the regions and different lines. Some of the British Rail football matches were feisty to say the least.
Not forgetting the Manx Electric, Isle Of Man Steam Railway and recreating the two distinct railway lines that used to operate on Jersey!

Can we please stick to positive, specific suggestions that might have a shot of happening? DTG is not going to jettison their home country because of one griefer.
A couple of friends were a bit disappointed on a stream I did the other day that there are two versions of the IoW line but neither of the Manx ones.
