Hello everyone, I'm creating a route that crosses two states and both states do not use the same lidar type. One uses LAS and the other uses LAZ, trying to merge them in QGIS does not populate these files in the merge box. Anyone have ideas?
There appear to be utilities out there which can decompress LAZ files and convert them to LAS. Unfortunately I have no practical experience on this and don’t know how tricky it might be if you have a large number of files to convert.
