Are there any plans to add DLSS/FSR to the game? There have been tentative discussions on the forum for quite some time now, and there were even promises to test something, but there are no concrete details.

 

I would add to that high time we had clatter going over structures too, particularly metal or girder bridges.

 

Has the screen mode issue (not working on PS5) been looked at at all?
When I got a response from Harry the other week it appeared DTG didn't know about it, despite me even annoying myself how much I'm banging on about it.

To reiterate, since being released on the 26th September 2024, screen mode on PS5 has not worked for anyone.

Just try it and see.

 

In all fairness, they’ve often answered some of my questions, and often quite well with detailed responses.

 

Console players are still facing awful blurry textures, with the issue moving forwards into TSW6. What guarantees can be given to console players, considering we are paying the same price for a poorer experience, with significant, game-breaking issues now taking years to resolve, if at all?

 

Can't give any exact date yet. BR 420 is still aimed for a release this year, but very late. BR232 i'm targeting a release in mid 2026 at latest. The newest 420 delays were because i had to move into a new apartment immediately because i couldn't do any focused work or have a good sleep in the old one as of the damn plane noises (every 90s at rush hours) . If you like planes, GO AWAY!

 

When is Fife circle going to receive the update to the 170 which brings back running sounds and adds suspension which was promised when the BCC 170 dlc was released back in july?

Have you any plans to add suspension to the BCC 323 seeing as the 323 in the training centre has it and the 323 on the Manchester route has it, wouldn't it also make sense for BCC to have it?

When are blurry textures actually going to be fixed on console? I keep seeing and hearing that it's because of console limitations but how come the blurry textures only became a problem from TSW5 onwards on console?

 

Well said- Morristown is exactly the kind of route i want! Looking forward to NY-Stamford as well. If future NY/NJ routes are of the same quality, they're insta-buys for me.

What DTG really owe us, IMO, is a proper revamp of NY-Trenton bringing it up to 2025 standards, fixing the ATC (or signalling or whatever the issue is there), and adding the Arrow III to the timetable. It was not up to 2022 standards when it launched tbh.


I'd personally love them to do updates to Harlem and LIRR to add the lastest features like announcements. Doubtful they'll touch it again after the licensing debacle though.

Like you, i would be cool with a NYC subway route, but i just don't think DTG are interested in making one, even if the licensing worked out- they've said so many times how much harder and, crucially, more expensive modelling underground stations is- i think the price-point to make it economically feasible for them would have the torches and pitchforks crowd out in force.

 

They've made it abundantly clear that your options for blurry textures on consoles are:

1. Turn off the layers you've paid for
2. Wait for Gen 10 consoles.
3. Move to PC, re-buying all your content.
4. Put up with it.

I chose secret option 5 of not buying TSW 6 because they just don't care and are happy to blame their users for buying too much content.

 

Do you guys monitor customer trends etc and analyse such information to inform products going forward?

How much collaboration is involved with 3rd parties.

 

Will we get an optimized Frankfurt S-Bahn, so that consoles can get the complete timetable too?

 

What about a new timetable for Clinchfield and München Augsburg?

 

Why did you decide for the BR 140 instead of the BR 150 at Stuttgart Heilbronn?

 

Would it be possible to let the BR 204 substitute for BR294 services and the BR 294 for 204 services?

 

When will we get back the fast moving external camera on consoles, that we've lost since the release of TSW4 2years ago?

• With the unbranded Caltrain DLC's being released soon. Will they be available for purchase again.
• Has any changes been made to the Caltrain DLC's (suspension, etc.)

Maybe because there were nearly 900 140s built, serving in nearly every job and every place DB had, whereas there were only 180-odd 50s, pulling heavy freight on specific routes only. Moreover, we already have the 194 and 155, but no suitable general-purpose loco from the Bundesbahn/ early DBAG era.

 

1. In WCML: Birmingham - Crewe articles, it seems like the LNWR Class 350 is still unbranded, it's possible to explain why?

My questions for DTG (I seriously expect them to get ignored though):
-Why are most bugs of older routes or rolling stock being ignored and never fixed? Years old routes like Maintalbahn or even Tharandter Rampe contain signalling issues which prevent services from being completed, for example. Community input from the Feedback forum feels like it's being mostly ignored.

-Are there even any plans or intentions to remaster old routes in the future anymore? Back in the day, the remastered Dresden-Riesa has been presented as the first of many. For example, pretty much any of the German pre-TSW3 routes would profit greatly from a remaster.

 

We still can't bind any key to the numpad, is there a fix planned for this?

 

When will passengers be added back to London Euston station on WCMLS? Were they removed deliberately to increase performance, or is it a bug.

 

What ongoing work is being done, to address the continuing audio popping issue on Xbox?

 

I have only one question: when will you stop fooling around on streams, and how adults people you will answer on questions of your players?)

It could a regular playable train on about 5, plus AI on a few more. I think WCML South needs it most though.

Nope, you are not blind. It has indeed disappeared.

 

For the Class 90, it mentions "this first Class 90 add-on". What does this mean exactly? Future Class 90 add-ons? If so, how will they differ from this one, and why should I buy a future one if I choose to buy this one?
Will it have branding/a logo, since none of the screenshots show it an angle to where a logo can be seen?


For the ECW pack, will there be any gameplay that involves coupling or uncoupling 171s ans 377s? Will there be any updates to the route itself?

 

My question is: can the Class 90 be hooked into my veins right now, please?

 

Stuttgart-Heilbronn: will the InterRegio train have proper (Halberstadt) Aimz/Bimz coaches, or will it just have stand-ins? And will it have - too much to hope - a cab car?

 

Another one about the Class 90. Since it appears to be for Euston to Milton Keynes; "run to time up and down the West Coast Main Line South (WCMLS) without interfering with higher-priority traffic", will it also be available in the All Aboard 805 timetable, if you purchase both add ons, of course, or just the original? Or will it end up with it's own like the cargo line pack from Skyhook did?

 

As it's not there, what has happened to the class 158 FCL timetable? Also is the class 104 pack ever going emerge or is PFR going to remain with it's poor timetable?

 

I have a few more questions now the article is out:

Will the newer electrostar sounds, PIS & newer feature set be ported onto the East Coastway version of the 377/4? Since it'd be quite weird for one variant having considerably better sounds & features.

It looks like performance optimisations have disappeared from the roadmap entirely, despite being a selling point for TSW6. This is quite concerning since there are quite a few add-ons that involve busy timetables (Class 805, Birmingham Crewe etc), and if blurry textures aren't fixed, then these exciting add-ons would be rendered useless on consoles.

 

Oh, I didn't see IR - while that would be great to see, I expect we'll see Intercity coaches.

when are we going to get the red western rail tour layer for rivera line it was said to be playable from launch or have you now removed the layer because of memory problems on gen 8 consoles? i am on pc steam build

Has dynamic weather been improved? I've just done a run on Riviera encountered off clear, turned to fog which eventually slowly cleared. In the past fog just vanished when it was done.
