    [MASSIVE STRING OF EPITHETS!!!]

Service 5A83, 2347 Euston to Wembley Depot. This ECS, putting the train to bed for the night, has a HORRIBLE and (unforgivable) surprise at the end- after crawling through the nightfor an eternity, the end is in sight when..... a gorram manual switch is set wrong, not only wrong, but into a siding where a train is parked!

This not only violates all player expectations, that switches at the end of a run will be set correctly, but also an inviolable rule of railroading, that the entry switch into an occupied siding will always be shut.

Please for the love of God fix.

I am on XBox S and every time I stop at a station, I cannot accelerate the Pendolino anymore. Not sure if it is a bug or just a lack of operation knowledge. No problems with nonstop services though, just need to avoid stopping. Any ideas why?

    Possible TPSW/AWS brake application?
    DRA left on?
    Doors not interlocked
    Emergency Brakes activated

There's various reasons but I don't think it's a glitch as I haven't seen anyone else or myself encounter it. Happy to be proven wrong though.

maybe a stupid question, but... well... driving this train and I have accidentally gotten brake into "emergency"... getting it back into normal braking territory or resetting the reverser into neutral and then back to forward didnt help... is there a way to recover from this without stopping?

Turn reverser to off instead of neutral, might solve the issue

I did a run just to test multiple methods (also tried going to neutral and lowering and then raising panto), and yes, I also tried turning the reverser off and such, but nothing managed to budge the brakes... they only released once the train ground to a halt... but I havent managed to find a method how to recover and still move at least at some speed

I mean, it isnt such a big deal, since getting from B6 to Emergency requires more than a tap of a button on keyboard (you actually have to hold it for like half a second or second, dunno), but it can happen, like you try to brake hard (for whatever reason) and you overdo it and end up getting to Emergency... most of other trains, be it cos they arent simulated properly/fully or for other reasons, can recover just fine if you get out of Emergency setting

I just wanted to know if there is actually any way to release the brakes while still moving... I am not an expert in trains, let alone UK ones... could be that 390 actually is this way, like if you get to Emergency notch with the combined handle, be it on purpose or accident, you just have to stop and thats it, dunno

was hoping someone with more knowledge of these trains knows the actual answer O:)

I keep getting crashes with the 390 when coming into Euston.
The only way I found to quick fix this is to save the game a mile or so just before the tunnel and as you ascend the high gradient, save and restart the game. Then open the game and resume the TT service (PS5). I hope this issue gets resolved in TSW6.

I don't remember exactly how it works with the 390, but usually when the emergency brake is “accidentally” activated, if you quickly return the handle to its previous position, the brakes will release. However, this does not work on every locomotive, so you need to check. I understand your indignation, but the cycle of turning the train off and on is usually the most effective.

oh I know, but here the brakes didn't release until complete stop, and I have tried everything, from just putting brakes to normal positions, to reverser shenanigans or even panto down and up :D

Was messing around with this train on a long and fast loop around the training centre just to try out a few of the controls and found something odd with the tilt settings.

Not sure if it is a bug, or if I am missing something (playing on Xbox).

Set the first cab up as usual flying around the track and turn on the tilt control isolate (trying both switches). All good, warning light comes on and alert sounds until switched off with both.

Then stop and shut this cab down and go to the other end of the train and set that end up in exactly the same way, acknowledging alarms etc.. off I go on my loop again, but this time, no response from the tilt control when activated, no warning light, no alert, no response from the train (both switches again).

So I stop, shut this cab down and go back to other end of train again (the end that was all working as intended), but now the tilt control at this end does not work anymore either, can do everything else fine, but nothing from either the switch near the fuse box or the temp switch on the front panel.

Tried this a couple more times on different tracks just to see if I had done something wrong, or it was a training centre glitch, but exactly the same every time.

Strange. Maybe I am getting something totally wrong, but can't figure out what it would be. As i said everything else was working fine from both cabs.

    Any ideas?
