When does it release. Was a day one purchase for me but not anymore if they cant sort out these constant faults. Just turned Rivera route off 150 so many faults in one trip to Paignton.

How much of the Crewe Heritage Centre is modelled and what are the main highlights? Is there an an APT modelled?

Is there scope in the timetable for future rolling stock, such ATS' Class 90? Plenty of freight around Crewe that could be used for.

Will there be WCML extensions from the same team? (Milton K. - Birmingham, for example)

Does this class 350 employ TPWS four? (the one with spad button and the voice, better sounding AWS alarm)

    • Will the new 350’s substitute into WCMLS, either entirely or only if the player selects them?
    • Is AAS going to have a diversified portfolio of routes & content, or will they take a similar approach to JT & keep development around the WCML?

More of a suggestion than a question. Why not spawn each individual 350 into training centre, then the differences for the exterior and the interior can be appreciated at a slower pace than normal.

    1. Have there been any changes and/or bug fixes to the 350?
    2. Are neutral sections simulated?
    3. What’s the performance like on console?

Can the 350's couple to the Rail Operations Group class 37 to replicate drag moves? The WCMLS version doesn't let you couple it to anything else

Will there be a pre order discount? This route is coming out hot on the heels of TSW6 and a major sale (on Steam anyway) which has seen many of us pay over a considerable amount of money already to DTG in the last few weeks.

Why was the route done in the modern era rather than to match the JT mid 80's (possibly with a Class 304 EMU as a new train)?

Why was this route chosen rather than something more iconic like North Wales Coast? As mentioned in another thread, this is a section of line which IRL has you looking up from your book and going, "Are we there yet?"

Have the brakes on the Class 350 been tamed particularly the over harsh Step 1?

Hundreds of identical services on a clockface timetable which you can see in real life. The excitement is unbelievable.

    A 304 would truly puzzle the masses #whereisthePIS #whereistheheadlight #GSMR #two handles etc

Far too much fun for TSW....

Has the 350 had any fixes compared to the WCMLS version?

E.g. the very fiddly PBC, incredibly harsh braking and the weird bug I'm getting where it emergency brakes at low speed (not sure if anyone else gets this)

It doesn't mention anything about nerfing the over powerful brake performance (which as an aside the similar Class 380 also suffers from and DTG continue to ignore).

How is the timetable for the Pendolino implemented? Specifically, will there be a 12 minute wait at Wolverhampton for southbound services? Will the services be split into 2 parts?

Is there any plan for a 2025 timetable in the future with the Class 805 they are making?

Is this route re-using the Birmingham station/scenery from Cross City (I know usually thats how it works with stations in DTG to DTG routes but not sure if that also applies to third parties using DTG's work)

    • Have the sounds been reworked, if so what has changed?
    • Will the new 350 variants layer onto WCMl south?
    • Is there a chance that the potteries line via Stoke-On-Trent will be added in the future?

I just want to echo what others have been saying about the current state of the game, especially regarding the faults, which now seem to happen even more frequently than they did before this latest patch. Yes, we technically have the option to turn them off, but that shouldn’t be the solution. Faults were marketed as a core feature, and it’s disappointing that we’re being pushed to disable them just to play without frustration. On top of that, a lot of the issues listed as “fixed” in the patch notes still don’t seem to be resolved in-game. For example, I haven’t experienced a single case where AWS magnets respond for TSRs.

I don’t know if “tone-deaf” is the right word here, but it really doesn’t look good when the game is still in this rough of a state and new content is already being shoveled out. It just feels too soon. The focus needs to be on getting TSW6 to an actually stable, acceptable standard before more DLC rolls out. That said, I do think it’s a GREAT thing that no release date has been announced for this route yet. Honestly, I think it’s in your best interest to keep it listed as “coming soon” until we see more substantial game and stability patches across the board.

Also echoing what TSS just said above, after the complete debacle of a patch which pretty much made worse all the issues it was supposed to fix, why should we continue to hand over £30 a shout for content when you are so inept and incompetent at fixing and testing your game? (And don’t get me started again over the save game slots and issues, the lack of graphics options or ghastly adaptive lighting). I know it’s not fair on a third party’s debut route but TSW is beginning to feel like throwing good money after bad.

Starting from the top down, get some people in who actually know what they are doing or call it a day on the whole sorry mess.

While it still sells I cant see much on the improvements front. If the train moves and there is some stations and buildings that seems to be enough, sounds, era and things like saving are just maybes.....

That ‘patch’ was just an embarrassment (though I’m not sure for who as I don’t believe DTG can feel shame). Not only did it break things that weren’t broken (has anyone tried getting the Voyager upto 125 since yesterday? Because good luck with that) but the things it apparently fixed are worse or not any different.

I think it’s overwhelmingly clear DTG literally aren’t testing their patches, rather than throwing LOVE at a wall & seeing what sticks.

As I said above, the biggest issue with third parties is that they have to release content into DTG’s whirlwind of slop.

Personally I’m of the belief that 3P’s would be better off banding their studios together & making a competing product. A pipe dream I know.

This will probably get nuked by the mods as being OT in a Q&A thread, but the problem any 3P trying to start up a rival product is getting past the huge wall DTG have built. It also needs to be console as well as PC. In the grand scheme, products like Diesel Railcar Sim, Derail Valley, SimRail and even the mighty Run 8 are also rans against TSW. The only contender is DTG’s own TSC…

Really looking forward to this route.
    My question...
Has the signalling been set up with approach control for all relevant junction signals?

On the bright side the faults are another suspension situation, where they've been heavily promoted but aren't actually coming to anything other than the core routes for the foreseeable future.

Why are DTG allowing DLC to be released without TSW core features being as standard from release?

I’m aware that they are coming in a “future update” but so it the DSD fix for the class 313 DLC released in 2021 along with a whole raft of other promises never delivered from multiple releases. As a result personally I take these promises with a large (10kg) pinch of salt and will hold off purchasing until a sale.

Will glowing benches be a feature on this route at Birmingham New Street? If they have been fixed then can they also be fixed on Birmingham Cross City? Why was this section of the WCML chosen and will AAS be looking into other sections of the WCML for future add-ons?

What experience have AAS had previous to this debut release, which seems almighty in scope compared to other third parties which tend to ‘start smaller’ to get to grips with things? In short: how have you pulled off such a massive project for a debut release!?

Is Birmingham New Street using the same model as Cross City route DLC?

Because there are lots of broken LODs on station benches and catenary arms that need fixing before release, and some clown placed a catenary mast clipping tracks on platform 4b.

Dropping £29.99 day 1 bugs wouldn't be fun.

I believe it is a New version of New Street. Kezz has said the Nuclear looking benches and OHLE been fixed. New PIS Boards on platform 4c and 5 as well. Also New Street will have vegetation as well.

    1) If the Class 221Avanti Super Voyager ever gets introduced into TSW Will you have a Layer for that Train in the future?
    2) What was the motivation for doing Birmingham to Crewe route and what made you such a complex route?
    3) What was the most hardest section of this route to do?
    4) Were you able to obtain access to Oxley Car Depot and Soho depot?
    5) Were you able to gain access to cab rides to make it a bit easier for you?

The fault issue was explained in the roadmap stream. It seems that it multiplies by how many coaches the train has. To be fixed.

805 will not as this is set in 2019.
It could if they did a 2024 timetable for this like they are doing for WCMLS

The point is, you shouldn’t have to. It was supposed to be a fun and random occasional feature to add a bit of depth to the game. Otherwise it’s a bit like buying a car, finding the left indicator circuit is shot and the dealer rather than fixing it, just advising, “Don’t make any left turns”.

Didn't know it was set in 2019, thanks. Even better because the older liveries are thus authentic.
