    Hello TSW community, today is finally time to present my first project to the public! That being my little "Repaint Shed" as I decited to call it.
    Let's start with some questions you might have:

    What is the "Repaint Shed"?
    The repaint shed (I got tired of writing the quotation marks real fast xd) is my attempt at creating repaints via the PC Editor. I will release repaints in fitting packs, be it an operator, a unit from real life (or fiction!) or a specific theme. Don't expect anything super high quality, this is a shed and not a paintworks after all. Examples of "low quality" would be not recreating 100% accurate side markings or taking some "creative liberty" in the depictions. Also, I won't do complicated repaints that would take weeks or even months.

    Have you worked on any past projects?
    For TSW - not really. I did a couple of liveries in the build in editor of TSW and poor attempts at a timetable (not really my area of expertise). However, I worked on some repaints for OMSI 2 the bus simulator (7 of which are public!) and privately modded my busses, and I always had fun in that area.

    What do you plan to do?
    Really, I'm open to anything from continental europe, especially Germany, Austria, the Netherlands and (eventually) Czechia. My first project will actually contain something from the last county. More on that later.

    How long do you take per repaint?
    I really cannot tell yet. The current state of my repaint has taken four days for two very simple ones, but I won't always have time or motivation to work on them.

    Do you take requests?
    Actually, yes! They might take a long time to do, but I am always happy to work on them. Just note: If you have a request, please ask kindly, don't espect it to be finished in less than a month (or even longer!) and don't give me a complicated livery, as I am new to TSW Editor repainting :). Also, I do not own every DLC, so it might not even be posible for me to do your request.

    Can I help you with anything?
    I work mostly alone, but there would be areas that I'd appreciate help in. First, reference photos of in particular little details would be awesome! They are very hard to find online, so quite a lot of that is guesswork and "simplification". I would also really appreciate it if someone could explain the rail vehicle numering override to me, as anything I tried seems to not work.

    Will your repaints have GSMR?
    At the beginning, no. I just really got started with TSW and first want to release the basic repaints from my current project.

    I think it would be rude to let you go without any details on at least one of my projects. So here I present: The Ceske Drahy Vectron repaint package!

    Right now two liveries are WIP. The white passenger one (representing units 6193 681 - 690) and the CD Cargo 584-586 units. I plan to add the dark- and light blue cargo unit, the passenger one with the QR code and the ELL we connect people unit later down the line. The screenshots are actually from in game, so packing works for me (right now at least).

    Another Vectron joins the shed! I thought that this part of the project would be relatively quick and I could start working on a livery based on it, but a whole days work later, here we are:

    This livery represents the 383's from CD Cargo before being painted in more advanced liveries. While not being finished (I only changed it to 383 on the front and back, not the sides, and the cab numbers still being black when they should be white) I feel it is in a state worth sharing. This livery is actually a byproduct like the clean livery, because I'm gonna need it to create the one with the map, which is probably the easiest and most common 383 cargo livery, and the only one I will make. The 383 text on the front can look kinda bad in certain lighting (first picture), which is due to me using decals and not understanding how to do reflection textures (my bad).
    Now, the reason why it took so long is that I made some mistakes with the livery which took hours to correct. Also my TSW editor randomly decited to not let me view and edit stuff with the viewer, which was veeery fun (hope it's obvious this is ironic!).
    Now I'm gonna start work on the map. Next up will be the coloured Eurocity liveries.
    By the way: I will set up a poll whether the passenger and old liveries should sub into cargo services or be player only. Right now all liveries have a commonness rating of 0,1. If anyone has an idea on what values would be realistic, feel free to answer :)

    I really need your help. after doing what feels like infinite remakes of the map I finally landed on a design that makes me happy. It isn't 100 % realistic and simplifies the real map on cd cargo 383's by quite a bit, but I don't want to make yet another remake with less than optimal reference pictures. Would it be ok if the pack would include a simpler version of the map for you all so that I can start working on other stuff or do you want a map accurate to the real unit? I will add a screenshot from the editor on how it looks right now, Screenshot 2025-09-22 215631.png
    I know I miss a line but that can be added if you approve of the design.

    Update from the Vectrons: I had a small problem with the editor, which ment that I sadly lost some progress on the Vectron with the map. This also led me to do another rework, as I found some better reference pictures. I sadly don't have screenshots of the new Vectron I can share yet, but I think my secound project should be in a state worth sharing.

    This is a DBB old coach, based on the Flixtrain one! The whole coach will be semi-ficional (for reasons I will talk about later) and for now only spawnable in free-roam or god mode.
    The coach itself is based on a model of a "Bm 234" I own. While those are screenshots from the first class "Am", there will also be a "Bm" included. Ioriginally also wanted to include the green and blue coaches, but those will need to wait for a future update.
    The content will be an Am and Bm coach with:
    Realistic, washed out exterior
    Semi-realistic side markings
    Semi-real interior based on Flixtrain one with repainted seats and walls (red/white interior for 1st. class, brown interior for 2nd. class)
    Formations with the BR 103, BR 110, BR 111 and BR218, running with and without the IC79 coaches from Mittenwaldbahn.

    Now for some known problems with the coaches:
    The exterior colours don't match with the IC79 coaches from Mittenwaldbahn
    The numbering will be static, as I have hat problems with setting up a dynamic numbering material
    The UIC markings are too big (I did that as a compromise between readability and realism)

    Those known Issues will not be fixed until release. Maybe in a future update, but I can't promise. I'd also really love to make them substitute into IC79 coaches, but that won't be possible as you need to spawn the Flixtrain coach first. Though they should be usable in custom timetables if anyone wants to do a DBB timetable.

    I have good news and bad news regarding this project:
    The good news is that now I can start creating the formations and an upload could potentally happen this week. The bad news: During testing I found out that for some reason the Am and Bm won't release their brakes when coupelled to a Eurofima coach. I'm not sure whether this problem has to do something with my coach or something with DTG's side, but I know that I won't be able to fix it till the first release if it's my fault. So for now the formatrions will be Am and Bm exclusive.
    Edit: After a quick test with "vanilla" vehicles it seems that the problem is a TSE one, not a me problem. I will create a bug report.

    My first pack nears it's release! The Am and Bm coaches have been uploaded to TSC and are now waiting for approval. I will leave you with a little screenshot if you are curious on how some of the formations are going to look like

    What do you think? When can you upload the Vectron liveries?
    BPH just released its big update for the Eurofima coach pack mod, which now also includes ČD coaches — the Vectrons would fit perfectly with those.
