The current system is a bit inflexible in chaos scenarios. I just did the run with the Voyager from Plymouth in the snow that ends up terminating at Newton Abbot. But despite that, the announcer was still stating the next station was Exeter SD and the train was going to Leeds. Would have been better if the text pop up showing a message from the driver to the passengers (which would have been made by the Guard) had been fed into the announcement system instead, together with the platform announcements stating all change.
For some reason, the passenger ambience in the Class 150 isn't working. I've ensured that the settings are enabled, but even while walking through a completely full train, no sounds are playing. I noticed this issue after the most recent update on Steam. I searched for a feedback thread regarding passenger ambience but couldn't find one, so I'm sharing this feedback here.
Announcements (Voyager) refer to Newcastle as Newcastle Central. Pretty sure this is wrong, should only say Newcastle.
Also, even go via objectives incur announcements, as well as ECS moves. Seems like announcements are tied specifically to objectives altogether, regardless of what the objective is.
The announcements were previously at 100% and were quite loud as one would expect at max volume. The problem was that you couldn't save any volume adjustments that you made. However, now I have noticed that the volume for the announcements is fairly low even when set at 100%. Since the player can't make the audio any louder than 100%, I would say that the base volume now needs to be increased. At 100% it is not really loud enough for me anymore.
