Try the brake hold that should help with any roll backs at Plymouth or any gradients.

which button in the cab is it? I tried like rolling back, a sort of antiroll engaged, released that, and afterwards I was able to move with notch 2 for some reason, as if I somehow released some brakes... or sth

tried that button, didnt much help... if it helps, when I go into notch 3 I hear a sound as if doors closing, which is weird, as if something got released... and then I can immediately revert to notch 2 for that first steeper stretch... I have no idea how is this possible... if sth from antiroll needs notch 3 to release and then you can move from notch 2?

It's as if Notch 2 isn't powerful enough start moving due to the gradient.

I literally did what I described - notch 2 just preventing rollback, then notch 3 which gets wheels moving and then back to notch 2 to keep moving... which to me doesnt make a lot of sense, but maybe notch 3 is needed as a bigger force to get wheels moving and once in motion they can keep slowly speeding up at notch 2

anyway, from the looks of the unit I would think it more powerful... and even some ppl mentioned here that the game's version is kinda nerfed compared to reality (like they did with Desiro Classic which in reality has no problem getting to speed and even to 120 kph, but in game it has sluggish acceleration)

The Class 802 is too loud in the cab at speed. It would be good if there could be a toggleable option for the Class 802 engine sounds as in reality the engines can barely be heard in the cabs. Only the intermediate coaches are powered.
In terms of the route, it has been well represented but is missing the Exmouth branch which would add to the experience. Especially with the request stops Exton and Lympstone Commando with the latter being used for training personnel only.

Well I for one prefer the engine sounds being piped in otherwise it would be a boring drive. The problem is that they are not loud or deep enough and don't sound much like it when you are sitting over the MTU power plant in one of the coaches and it spools up.

I have noticed that the Class 150 driven by AI moves before the engine revs. Some sounds that would be welcome additions would be the brake hiss which is common on a moving Class 150 and a ticking spirax valve when idling.

The Class 166 which layers on seems to rev up for a second than returns back to idle when departing.
