I notice when pressing the 8 key, the camera is directly in front of the train. Is there anyway to move that camera farther away from the front, say a few hundred feet or more so that is there is a longer time before the train passes the camera?

The '8' key is the free roam key, just use the arrow buttons to move it around.

If your loco is travelling 'backwards' (B cab first), the 8 camera appears behind the loco.

arrow keys move the camera at about 27mph. Holding shift moves it at about 127mph

Would be nice if it went faster. It’s impossible to get ahead of your train when doing 100+

It takes a little patience (and good aim) to get a good flyby of a HST at full speed. Anything faster than 200km/h? Impossible.

87/86 on WCLMOS is the hardest because you can’t usually stay away from the controls for more than a few seconds
