which button in the cab is it? I tried like rolling back, a sort of antiroll engaged, released that, and afterwards I was able to move with notch 2 for some reason, as if I somehow released some brakes... or sth

tried that button, didnt much help... if it helps, when I go into notch 3 I hear a sound as if doors closing, which is weird, as if something got released... and then I can immediately revert to notch 2 for that first steeper stretch... I have no idea how is this possible... if sth from antiroll needs notch 3 to release and then you can move from notch 2?

It's as if Notch 2 isn't powerful enough start moving due to the gradient.

I literally did what I described - notch 2 just preventing rollback, then notch 3 which gets wheels moving and then back to notch 2 to keep moving... which to me doesnt make a lot of sense, but maybe notch 3 is needed as a bigger force to get wheels moving and once in motion they can keep slowly speeding up at notch 2

anyway, from the looks of the unit I would think it more powerful... and even some ppl mentioned here that the game's version is kinda nerfed compared to reality (like they did with Desiro Classic which in reality has no problem getting to speed and even to 120 kph, but in game it has sluggish acceleration)

The Class 802 is too loud in the cab at speed. It would be good if there could be a toggleable option for the Class 802 engine sounds as in reality the engines can barely be heard in the cabs. Only the intermediate coaches are powered.
In terms of the route, it has been well represented but is missing the Exmouth branch which would add to the experience. Especially with the request stops Exton and Lympstone Commando with the latter being used for training personnel only.

Well I for one prefer the engine sounds being piped in otherwise it would be a boring drive. The problem is that they are not loud or deep enough and don't sound much like it when you are sitting over the MTU power plant in one of the coaches and it spools up.

I have noticed that the Class 150 driven by AI moves before the engine revs. Some sounds that would be welcome additions would be the brake hiss which is common on a moving Class 150 and a ticking spirax valve when idling.

The Class 166 which layers on seems to rev up for a second than returns back to idle when departing.

    XBOX Series S

Whenever driving a service from Exeter towards Dawlish Warren, the sea completely vanishes when you get close to Dawlish Warren station.

Happens on every timetable service I've tried, class 150, 802 and 220 Voyager.

Why is it when driving the 802 you keep having move the camera so you keep in line with the windscreen.

How do I go about starting the 150 or 802 up again after previously having shut the engine off?

Keeping the engine start button pressed but nothing happens, what am I missing?

For the 150 you need the reverser in neutral and the brakes in full service.

Getting so confused now as why there is so many different 150s 220s and 802s to choose from.

Not a good start to my first run on this route! Class 150 service 2T24 to Paignton. All lights stuck on red on approach to Newton Abbot. AI service 2T23 ahead stuck in the station. Train faults off. Random speed restriction on. Xbox series X.
To complete my run I restarted and took over the service at Newton Abbot. Got to Paignton ok but there was a delay after locking the doors and the service end screen.
Tried the same service again with all random events off. AI service ahead 2T23 is still stuck at Newton Abbot. Also as others have reported the sea was missing at Dawlish Warren on this run. Abandoned!
Thought I'd try service 2T23. There is a stop over at Newton Abbot but I did get the green light when due. So I'm guessing it only gets stuck when the AI is driving.
Last thing, shouldn't the level crossing at Paignton be audible when the gates are down?

As DTG mentioned if they are gonna do anything with the night lighting. I just a night run my old eyes could not see anything just a black screen . Except at stations and street lights.

Class 150 , train faults off. Stuck at Torre stn, telling me to lock doors, they are. This is why I never normally buy a route when first released. Xbox series X. Going back to playing some older routes for the next couple of months.

I’m currently driving 6C10. A LOADED clay train from Plymouth to Exeter Riverside Yard. However the wagons are empty. No feeling of pulling a heavy load at all. May as well be a light engine run.

What are Tavistock yard sidings used for. Also what is that station that's just past Totnes station.

The station just past Totnes is the South Devon Railway.

I would love to see the Avocet Line in the game. I used this a lot going to and from CTCRM in ‘89/‘90. Always to Exeter Central as recruits were banned from Exmouth. A troop train would be chartered for major leave periods.

You have to pan the camera along the side of the train, open every door manually and then close them as normal. There seems to be a bug with the 150 where train faults are happening even with them set to off.

Another roundabout way of doing things is to spawn in to your desired location 5 mins before the train leaves, then take charge of the service. It’s not fail-safe as the bug can sometimes return mid-way through a journey. Really hope this is fixed when the next patch is pushed.

Had a great rainy October drive on it today.
    No issues.
In fact smoother than most I've played since TSW 6 came out (less stuttering even in rain with passing traffic in a town)
One of the best routes to come out in my opinion.

So the last chapter of the journey there are two jobs to Paignton that should be the 802. But jobs you spawn in a 150 is that correct.

dtg_jan there’s a bug with the scoring system on the Riviera Line in TSW 6.

I drove Flying Scotsman on the Cathedrals Express - Part 1 timetable service (with signalling systems on) and arrived at Plymouth on time, receiving the maximum 240 AP added to my current score for timing and stopping accuracy. However, after loading the passengers, I only got 176 AP (eight 22 APs) added on to my score instead of the 500 AP (two 250 APs I got at Exeter). Please fix this.

    Platform: Xbox Series X.
Service: Cathedrals Express - Part 1.
Repeatability: I have replayed the timetable service a few times, but the same thing keeps happening.

Not sure if this has already been mentioned but I’m having to turn off the DSD on the voyager as I can’t hear it very well and keep getting an emergency brake application.
