Does anyone have any speculation about what aabs may be revealing in the November roadmap. This was mentioned in the stream Tuesday.
I don't recall seeing anything other than the 805 and a new timetable for WCMLS after the Birmingham-Crewe DLC is released.
I think it's AABS because without the B it looks very similar to a certain word. I think it's to do with the 805.
I remember this being mentioned in an article that the Class 805 would come with a 2025 timetable for WCML South.
No I doubt it. Because they would have said it was the 805 as its already announced. This makes it seem like something unannounced
I agree with the title that it is likely a 2025 timetable for Birmingham to Crewe, to be included with the Class 805. A Class 807 is the only other reasonable possibility, but that seems too obvious to be remotely surprising.
Will the services between Wolverhampton - Walsall (Aston) be the same throughout using both route maps separately ie same class & formation? Is their other ways to Crewe around Birmingham has isn't their services stopping at Lichfield Trent Valley as seen on departure displays, not included in the upcoming route?
Most AWC services use the main trunk of the WCML that bypasses Birmingham & Wolverhampton. This is why I don’t believe there would be a 2025 timetable for the route. It’s practically pointless when the only thing they could do is add a handful of services ran by 805’s & the main change in rolling stock for the era would need 2 loco DLC’s that we certainly aren’t getting by December.
Their is always current timetables available on their, just takes time to source then, ie Cross-country services between Man Pic & Bristol TM. As for Wolverhampton to Walsall I was referring to West Midlands Railway has previously Birmingham Cross City enabled the Birmingham New Street to Aston section of route. But now the Wolverhampton to Birmingham New Street section is enabled.
