All the timetables seem unfinished. Journey times don’t seem right and the timetable in game has no times for arrivals etc. Also introduction for the route has text but no voice. All the other routes have had someone speaking.
PS5: -blurry textures -Wolverhampton doesn’t fit in front PIS - No AWS alert for this signal - Class 350 cab HVAC cuts out when going over a junction (bug carried from WCML South version) - OHLE doesn’t zig zag on straight sections of the route (Crewe - Stafford for example) - Service stopped off path -11 car 390 facing the wrong way (9S47) first class should face London
Just started 5S36 Oxley Car M.D Birmingham New Street. instead of starting at Oxley it spawns at Wolverhampton. Despite Oxley being in the game
Crashed back to home screen trying to load tutorial as well on PS5 pro Seems yet another route where testing only seems yo happen on PC EDIT. Tried again straight after boot up and crashed again. DO NOT TRY TUTORIAL OF 350
PS5 Pro - Blurry Textures almost immediatley leaving New Street. Probably the the worst affected route yet
PS5 Pro - Just crashed 1.5 miles from Wolverhampton just after the blurred textures got totally out of control I would say this route is unplayable in this state. Extremely dissapointed that it has been released in this state.
And here we see why even the console ambassadors were doing previews on PC. Fortunately for everyone even Sony refunds the routes with this issue.
This was released way to early. Not finished at all timetable jobs have no time duration. Blurry textures all over CTD 4 times now. On xbox x DTG what the hell are doing did you just want my money or something. Just a complete shambles if not sorted by end of day I will asking for refund. Also thought would have been more then 4 freight jobs.
Haven't bought yet as I wanted to hear about console performance, but just curious if those who have bought have noticed a difference between playing 4K vs 1080p? Also, are we looking at another wrong build pushed out for consoles?
The timetable descriptions are a mess. For example 86 rail tour says empty stock move to Wolverhampton yet you’re driving to Birmingham. Lots of examples of this throughout the timetable. Looks rushed and not much care taken (no double checking of text).
At this point it's more shocking when they release the correct build onto console than when they don't!
This actually really bad, I have the Microsoft store version so I'm not too sure if I'll receive the console build or PC build of the game. But this is really concerning. I'll be doing my feedback later tonight or tomorrow morning
Timetable issues are not fixed in the new build. Journey duration seems to match time of service. Also so many descriptions are simply incorrect.
Once again not tested on consoles. I, and others, asked repeatedly about console performance and were told they were aware of no issues. If its not tested they wouldn't be aware. Crazy. So for future reference. "Aware of no issues" = We haven't bothered testing it.
I'm not getting any alarm sounds on PS5 pro on either 350 or Pendolino with new patch installed - I've uninstalled and will reinstall
Patch did nothing 350 tutorial still crashes the game Blurry textures as soon as you get close to Smethwick The route is £30 of horse ****
Now started 5S39 a 390/0 Service Oxley Car M.D to Birmingham New Street. Once again it spawns me in at Wolverhampton. Really annoying it is.
Why is stuff untested and unfinished? What is wrong with you people? Why do you fall into these same traps over and over again?
PS5 pro: build number 651, with Birmingham Crewe: version 1.001.000 installed. Issues with alarms still occurring
Apparently the correct build number for PS5 should be 1140 so what was initially pushed out was a very old build!
Well this is going to change. Just decided to boycott future purchases of DTG products until they prove they have got their act together Would recommed all console players to start doing the same Have a feeling this might be a permanent boycott
I was going to make a similar comment but it’s wasted energy, DTG has no shame. Frankly it will be a miracle if they have some magic build that resolves the texture issue. This is only going to end up like the other myriad of routes that have the same problem - dropped & forgotten about. I agree with above sentiments that console players need to stop just buying content, nothing is going to change until a clear message is sent. DTG only acts responsive with non solutions for a couple of days during the release window, then when the hype dies down & new content is announced, the cycle starts again.
Its not. Your PS5 will check for any updates as soon as you try to launch a game We are on build 651 as that is the one DTG have uploaded to Playstations back end This is just another sign that DTG are now just hopeless
As noticed before. We’ve got some serious problems with blurry textures. The route is beautiful but I just don’t get how this even happens. This shouldn’t be a problem anymore
Ignore, found it whilst paused in route. It’s 651 but as poster above said it was that before the update was pushed.
And some people wondered why in the run up to release I baulked at paying £30 for this. Frankly TSW production and QA is at an all time low. DTG seems to be run by a bunch of hapless kids.
