    Surely after the wrong build is released for console, the FIRST THING YOU CHECK is whether Steam has the right build or not. Ridiculous.

    One thing I actually love which dadrail pointed out in his video yesterday and what I have just experienced is the Low Adhesion being simulated. That is quality gold tbh and I love that. Gives that more challenging aspect.
    I think you guys have done a great job. Just some things as you know that need to be fixed quickly hopefully. But thanks again guys for producing such an amazing route'

    If you want to charge a premium price we expect a premium service to go with that price!! This is getting beyond a joke now..... i have requested a refund from xbox for this route doubt ill get it as i've played it only for it to crash about a million times already... DTG Get your bloody act together sorry if that comes across rude but your just infuriating at this point.... if you cant make games that work you shouldn't be in business.

    series X user here...just downloaded, managed to complete a 220 run between new st and stafford. this is the route that we all want...super busy, yellows all the way between new st and wolverhampton, but unfortunately it's stuttery as hell. sadly i can tell this is right at the limit of what the game can handle and without further optimisation, i don't think we'll get a route this busy again (at least not unless we get reduced timetable/layers like the s bahn)

    going to try a brum to crewe route now as it sounds like the issues people are facing are around crewe so wish me luck

    edit: succesful brum to crewe run on the pendolino. but still well stuttery...which i doubt will improve. another point to note is platform announcements are all over the place. says things like "calling at manchester piccadilly only"...when it isn't, and also heard random platform announcements whilst half way between wolverhampton and stafford

    Those of us who complained about DTG's new policy of not including trophies/achievements for future DLCs made the point that such cuts showed laziness at DTG when it comes to quality in general, and look what happened with the first post DLC after TSW6.

    DTG said it would be too time consuming to include them. It seems even a good working route was too time-consuming in this launch.

    Cutting features like trophies is the thin end of the wedge. Expect more such shoddy releases.

    Couple from me after playing a couple of routes.

    1. AWS doesn’t go off for the signal prior to Cosely station towards Wolverhampton. Sorry no signal number or picture.
    2. Freight duration seems to be the same as the start times. Similarly on some 390 services but not all. I’m sure I heard Matt say something about times on a stream somewhere? IMG_7318.jpeg

    3. Selecting Custom Weather disables snow!

    4. AI Northern 323 service has no lights on at all.

    5. Locking doors before departure time results in having to unlock them at departure time and re-locking them in order to depart.

    The lack of achievements is entirely Xbox led.

    From what I know, Xbox doesn't allow achievements for DLC if the content isn't available to all users. For example, This route is not available for gen 8 players of TSW6, so in Xbox's eyes, the gen 8 players will see achievements they can't get.

    Yeah, I very much saw the dropping of trophies as signalling that they would be doing the least possible effort on future releases, not sure they even did the minimum here.

    Is this one of the Birmingham to Crewe via Stoke services? In which case it will go off map north of Stafford, hence it’s only drivable to that station.

    Did the 350s ever run as 8 or 12 cars on this route.

    I think 9K16 is a service to Crewe via Stoke-on-Trent so it will leave the map at Stafford.

    Anyway here is my feedback from PC/Steam. I'm on build 531.
    My spec:
    AMD Ryzen 5 5600X 6-Core Processor
    32GB RAM
    RTX 3060

    Feedback on the route:
    Voyager: The voyager is allowed up to 125mph between Stafford and somewhere between Penkridge and Wolverhampton as in reality. Honestly, I was worried that it would just be limited to 110 all the way for simplicity.
    Stafford: The approach hold from red into platform 5 from the up fast I believe is implemented correctly. However, I didn't get an approach hold entering platform 1, which I think is flashing yellows in reality.
    TSR: I got a TSR between Wolverhampton and Stafford on a Voyager run. I am concerned they always seem to be 40mph. However, the AWS magnet triggered a warning, which surprised me.
    350: The 350 appears to have had it's brakes fixed. (At least the 350-3). Applying 10% brake does not feel like an emergency stop anymore.

    Generally I'm very happy with the level of detail displayed and wish more routes had this level of detail. It's clear that a lot of effort has gone into it. My only concern is the timetable missing the arrival times, which I hope will be fixed soon.

    Feedback on performance:

    EDIT: I just want to add that I run at 1080p resolution.
    I don't have all the layers installed (I'm missing Cardiff and some of the freight) so I only have around 350 services which may have some bearing on this but I am really happy with the performance. I was getting around 60fps for a lot of the route with only slight drops when another train passed. I was getting around 45-50fps at Birmingham New Street and Crewe. It's a lot better than the Frankfurt routes.
    I did notice some graphical glitches (sort of like flashes) around Crewe at one point and there is some distant scenery popping in, but no worse than other routes.
    I haven't experienced an AI SPAD yet, so I can't comment on that.

    So after about an hour of playing, I'm actually very happy with the route. I hope the issues affecting console players will be fixed soon.

    Has the number of services changed from 459 to 425? I have all the layers and noticed that the number of services differs from the DTG live stream last week.

    PS5 Pro

    On Class 350-1, 350-2 Police and 350-2 ex-LM (just the ones with the yellow front) there is a problem with the texture of the driver's door. They look like new, there is no dirt on them. It is the same for all of the above

    DTG when the hell is this gonna get sort I've had another 3 crashes in the last 90mins. You are making what supposed to be my down time and relaxing time. Very annoying and frustrating time. Also they where all in journey witch you insisted that every job be pouring with rain. Don't think that helps please stop it.

    Looks like having layers enabled also causes issues with saves. I’ve just had repeated crashes on PS5 Pro trying to reload a run with layers, but no issues when they’re all disabled.

    Won't be investing another penny in a DTG/TSW project until it's proven that they have reached at least some level of competence when it comes to pushing out new content. I'm probably one of the lower spenders too (maybe paid for about 8 routes in total and some additional trains, so I really feel for the guys and girls who are shelling out much more than I am, to be met with such shonky products).

    Seems quite clear that TSW6 is already on its way to being an even bigger LOVE-show than TSW5 turned out to be.

    Very poor stuff.

    Dovetail never will. I predict for the next release we'll have yet another livestream preview running on a top end PC where someone from DTG on the stream says what a lovely drive it is and how there have been no issues reported by console beta testers only for us to be met on release with what we have today where dovetail seem to have admitted just upthread that they've only just encountered the same problems because they're now testing on console.

    It keeps happening, over and over again. They don't care!

    Yeah im not impressed with this route at all floating scenery wrong desitnations on the pis no rail traffic route very lifeless. Dont think it was ready at all and has just been pushed out there. 1.jpg 2.jpg 3.jpg

    In have a issue with the pendolino service 9M50.... This train does stop in Stafford but in the game its not. It results in an extremely early arrive in Wolverhampton. So that should be fixed.

    In 2019 the Birmingham to Scotland services did not stop at Stafford, although they do now. Southbound services would have a 10-15 minute wait at Wolverhampton arriving at around xx30 and leaving at xx45. I think this is a case where they should have split the services in two so the player doesn't have to wait.

    Since Tsw5 performance on ps5 has got worse. Even the riviera line has bad performance in places with all layers on Plymouth is below 30fps with stuttering. Will wait to see if updates will improve this new route but I don't think it will

    Ah thanks thats what you get with missing arrival times! :) Thanks for letting me know. And for me 15 minutes to wait is not a big deal i watch something on my tablet or walk around and do some trainspotting :D

    Great detail - rusty and overgrown rails and trackbed, occasional piles of new track, trunking and cabling in a typically organised mess along the route, Access Rail points with hidden collectibles in places that finally aren’t just stations or depots.. even spotted a fallen fence panel that had bent an electrical box on impact!

    I’ve walked the BNS to Oxley section so far, but hit blurry textures almost straight away.

    Interestingly I’ve collected 4 varieties of collectibles so far, each with a supposed total of 20. The route shows a total of 90, so either there’s 10 of something hiding elsewhere or there’s a mistake in the tally!

    How do you complete the contingency measures scenario? after an hour I made it to the end and have walked to the newspaper stand on platform 12, but the objective won’t complete and it’s the last thing I need to do… this whole release has been beyond frustrating. Phew

    On PC/Steam I have a bit more positive feedback, tutorial and the first run went very well, and I really liked the level of detail.
    Really sad to see that the console players can't share that experience.

    As for bugs, I only noticed PIS displays at Dudley Port not working properly, and unfortunately in the timetable most service descriptions seem to be messed up, as others have already pointed out. For example all Wolverhampton services in Chapter 2 of the Journey Mode are described as full-length, which at first made me wonder - full length of the route in a stopper service in half an hour would be an achievement...

    There was also no voiceover in the tutorial, not sure if that's intentional or a bug.

    One more thing: is this intentional that the Voyager layer also requires the 170 addon? The 170s have their own separate layers. I was surprised that I'm not able to select (or see) the 220 despite owning it.

    I have a crash by the game when i spawn on Rolfe Street. Only the 000000000x0 crash data. Can somebody check this? Maybe other users have the same result. I have no mods installed. This happens when you spawn on foot and walk to the poster behind the stairs by the bridge wall.

    Okay than im not alone.. i think there is something wrong with passengers there.... Maybe that will cause this crash. In general the route looks really good but but some bugs are frustrating. Example are the passenger amount.... It feels so lifeless on Birmingham and other smaller stations as well. They arrive to late on the station and they spawn to far away. So if you standing for a few minutes they will show up but that creates lifeless situations

    If you climb aboard one of the AI voyager services to Scotland from Birmingham new street, you get taken on a merry adventure outside of the map, which continues for some time until eventually all textures disappear (and you’re a long way out of Birmingham

    pc player hear
    first off loveing the route however there is a few bits I've noticed
    1.floating dispatch boxs at new street
    2.350 door lock sound should go off at 3mph not 19mph
    3.Using the cab buttons for the doors in the 350 seems to lock the brakes on need to use keyboard to close the doors
    4. brakes on the 350 are like cheese that sure that that's how they are irl but just seem really poor
    5.wheelslip when starting in full power on the 350
    6. gauge lights seem really dim compared the the WCML 350
    7.missing neutral section magnets
    8.floating OHLE insulater near Coseley (on the track)
    9.missing OHLE at Crewe carriage sidings
    10.390s been the wrong way around
    11.edinburgh seems to missing from platfrom announcements
    haven't found anything else yet but I'm sure other things will appear as I play more

    I think they concentrated on the passenger side of things and then thought that's it guys they've got enough,
    Not sure of the real life freight pattern on this route but I think it's quite busy as it's part of the WCML

    You will have got the Derby/Sheffield/Leeds/Neecastle route services which should go off map and take a different route at Birmingham. That’s not a bug.

    On the PS5, theres no voice over on the route introduction or the 2 training modules.
    I did like the fact 1 of the training modules covered the safety systems, how to enable them and where they are on the 350s. I also liked the fact the training module wasnt limited to the training center too. It gets boring doing the same 'loop' each time.
    Please bring back trophy/achievement support.

    Having explored a fair chunk of the ‘outer worlds’ I really don’t see it as an issue. Better for us to have access to places like that for scenarios or modders that want to add to the already existing map.
