I'd probably find it more worrying if they did somehow resolve the blurry textures on this route but none of the others. If they can fix it just for this route doesn't it mean they can fix it for all others but have chosen not to?
Guard mode is leaving ppl behind when dispatching the train. I have had the issue on 350 and 390. You key on the doors, press doors close and then the train drives off without you. It does seem to not happen if you do not key the doors on until it says locks doors however that is not realistic, all other routes allow this to happen - even the 390 on another route. Appreciate if this could be fixed. 350/2s and /3s are numbered wrong in certain circumstances. 350305 and 350209 do not exist thanks
That is why after many, many day one purchases, I have said “Enough” ( I like talking to myself, I don’t get any arguments). I held off buying this and am so glad I did. To be fair, I did buy the base TSW6 game on day one (and even broke the habit of a lifetime by pre-ordering) as Plymouth is my local station and, despite a few teething troubles (which worryingly they have been a bit quiet about lately) I have been pleased with it in general. No more though after this. I’ll buy B’Ham to Crewe when it is fit for purpose and not before. I implore others to do the same.
All the freight trains both bound are not working. You will be dropped somewhere on the route but not in the cab. Also there something wrong with the class 390/1 some gangways are missing. Some pieces of overhead wires are missing along the route. The route is very nice, but hopefully a patch makes it better.

Yes and eventually fell to the EP to debug it himself, with the fix only arriving nearly a year after release.

Did a full length run and had no issues scenery detail is very good and ran very smooth im very pleased so far
PS5 My game has been terminated several times this evening due to running a red light...even in Foot mode...some AI trains seem to have problems.......I admit that this has not happened very often in the past..... EDIT: Twice in a row in foot mode the game ended in 07:16:50 , service failure ....red signal .....

Ok, so I’ve been playing on PS5 for a couple of hours and have seen the shoddy blurs and the odd door locking behaviours as well as the obvious time of arrival issue but it is a very good route. HOWEVER, why does it only say 418 services across 19 layers? Wasn’t it meant to be 550ish? I have all the DLC so what is missing here?
I'm finding the announcements hilarious because most of them announce the time and then the train and hardly ever where it's going like they've had a brain fart and forgotten the destination. So it'll be something like Platform 11 for the 12.35 Avanti service to...Calling at Wolverhampton Birmingham New Street and that's it. they only list destinations on the route even if the train is going to Glasgow
Overall, this route is really good I’ve enjoyed it a lot. The scenery, the stations and the general feel of the line are great. That said, the missing Stoke section really stood out to me. Without it, we can’t run full “back to service” runs from Birmingham to Crewe in the Class 350 or do the proper all-stopper services that should exist. Because of that gap, trains end up portalling out around Stafford and only reappearing at Crewe, which breaks the flow a bit. It’s not a game-breaker, but it definitely bugged me especially when you look at the route map inside the 350’s interior, where you can clearly see Stoke marked as part of the line. It just feels like a key, vital part that’s missing. On the bug side, I’ve had a couple of issues I got kicked out twice near Wolverhampton due to a red signal, even though there wasn’t actually one showing at the time. Also noticed some random announcement triggers near Stafford that seemed out of place. Also. Service 1L85 AI 350 just randomly stopped outside of Crewe so there was no ai traffic coming from behind my run on the 390. But honestly, despite those issues, it’s a great route overall. It’s packed and busy so the it just makes atmosphere is spot-on especially at Birmingham new st Just a shame about the few bugs and that missing Stoke link otherwise, it would’ve been perfect. I'd give a 7/10

Sorry if this has been mentioned but on PC (possibly console too) unable to set a direction after spawning a train on foot at Birmingham. Was attempting a Soho depot run in a 323.

Class 220 Voyager service 1O28 Manchester Piccadilly - Bournemouth (Crewe - Birmingham New Street) cannot be completed on PS5. Roughly 10 miles to Stafford and something SPADs resulting in service failure. It is not the player train passing a signal at danger. I have tried running this service 3 times and the result is always the same.
Im hoping this route gets fixed quickly because this could be a really great route if everything was working as it should.

Yes, this happens quite often, the reasons are the passing of the red signal by the AI train, especially the Class 170 X Cross in Birmingham, see my post with the game time 7:16:50 and the train 1P00 ... but there will be more ....... it will help to turn off the layer with 170 X Cross ..... but someone needs to solve this ....... secondly I suspect the Pendolino stopping in Wolverhampton at platform 1, it stops at the Signal level and always has a Red signal .... it is on the millimeters and we have probably already recorded the passing and then the Service failure ....... I want to watch that again today Do you know the exact time when it gave a service failure?
I had the same happen yesterday on this service. Also on PS5 Of course the AI should not SPAD in the first place. But I really think it should not end the player session when they do. It’s really frustrating.
As a PC player I am very happy with the route. The modelling is great and Crewe with its complex layout and variety of rolling stock is just the sort of thing I like in the game. The timetable is very rough around the edges but I have found no show stoppers or anything that ruined my experience. I would be disappointed if someone does not roll up their sleeves for a few weeks and sort out the lack of destination arrival times, stopping distances, passenger loading, and excessive wait times at the start and end of a timetable service. I also think more thought should be given to layers. Why can't Class 220 owners run this train if they do not also own the 170 pack? The appearance of Freight seems to be all or nothing in this route despite seeming to use class 66 trains from more than one route. I do think DTG need to sort out their messaging regards consoles. I am loving the trend towards busier routes with more train types but this does seem to lead to more system load that most PCs can cope with but some consoles struggle with. People are rightly miffed to be told to turn off layers as this just cuts them off from one of the fun parts of the game. Do DTG need to start offering a reduced timetable alongside the main timetable as they did with South East Highspeed. Would a timetable with the same layers but fewer services in those layers mitigate the console problem?

Needing the 170 for the 220 to show is that a bug or intentional? Being on pc I have the mod timetable for the crosscity so I dont really need the 170 but to hear the 220 doesnt work without it on this route is disappointing.
Alex posted yesterday about things he was aware of, and he mentioned that. So it must be a bug not intentional. Hope it’s fixed soon, as I bought the Voyager for this!

I've read it's a bug on PS5. I did buy the pack on its own (I don't have cross-city) and it was worth it for the 170 services. (170 has an extra 46 playable services) AI makes new street alive too Money I wasn't expecting to spend, but a bug that I'm almost glad it had for once
Last scenario on TfW Class 153/150 depot run from Chester, runs you into incorrect bay line, coupled it up to 150 but won't move to enable to run to correct bay. Assume it does entail taking both class stock their Speed as a whole is way out of line with 200 plus on a 110 or others. Great for Birmingham New Street runs especially with low speeds as previously known in Birmingham Cross City

PS5 Pro There is a problem on Platform 1 in Wolverhampton, the AI-controlled Pendolins are having problems stopping at the signal that has a Red signal, it has already happened that it has passed and thus led to a Service failure and the game ending I watched how it stops there, it tries to stop a little before the Signal, but then it seems to jump forward several times and thus threatens to pass the Red signal ....as you can see on the screen, it is limited only at the signal
Im getting so fed up it crashing everytime im just pulling into crewe station. And disabled almost all layers. This is on xbox series x and we are still on the wrong build.
There you are AAB, looks like at least one of the rogue signal locations has been identified...by your customers. Think there was also an instance mentioned at New Street. Another route building lesson learned, just because something is in that location and works IRL doesn't mean it does in the game and adjustments to positioning have to be made. (Not TSW but a good example is in Trainz where loco RR release roads need to be far longer than in reality or the engine will simply not move beyond the points for them to change).

Seriously, DTG, there are customers here in the forum who have paid money for the DLC and who can also expect DTG to communicate here. Just because DTG now has a Discord, I think it's bloody cheeky to only chat with users on Discord. Not all users want to use Discord, but DTG doesn't seem to care about that, just like so many other things.
If I've paid money to a company and I'm not happy with the service I'll complain to who I like thank you very much.
